Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 20 October 2026 · How we review hotels
This prestigious resort is best for guests who appreciate fine dining and round-the-clock, personalised butler service. It features the expansive Arabella Spa and manicured gardens. A couple of disadvantages are that the resort lacks direct sandy beach access, and on-site dining is highly priced.
Guests score it 9.0 out of 10 — the average across the 54 hotels we list on Mallorca is 9.1.
- Guests can experience seasonal tasting menus at Es Fum, where delicate Mediterranean dishes are crafted using locally sourced Mallorcan ingredients.
- Spanning over 4,700 square meters, the thalassotherapy spa features indoor and outdoor pools, specialized treatment cabins, and traditional Chinese medicine therapies.
- While the resort boasts a waterfront location, the immediate shoreline is rocky. Guests seeking soft sand can easily access public beaches just a short drive away.
- The premium nature of the resort is reflected in the high prices of its food and beverage outlets, though the quality matches the expense.

Reviews from Google“The St. Regis Mallorca charges true luxury prices, but unfortunately delivers very little of what luxury hospitality is supposed to be. Luxury is about attention to detail, anticipation, and service. Sadly, that was missing throughout our stay. At breakfast, the service was virtually non-existent. Staff were difficult to communicate with in English, no one proactively offered assistance, and while we were struggling with plates and a young child, not a single person came to help. Everything that was supposed to be served hot arrived cold. After breakfast, we sat by the pool at around 10:00 a.m., with temperatures already close to 30°C. Despite waiting for quite some time, nobody came to ask whether we would like a drink or even offer us water. When I eventually walked over to ask for a bottle of water, I was told that pool service had not started yet. At a hotel of this category, that is simply unacceptable. Safety also seemed to be overlooked. I noticed a nail lying on the ground near the restaurant and informed a member of staff, pointing out that there were many small children around and that one could easily pick it up and put it in their mouth. She thanked me, but when I walked past again an hour later, the nail was still there. Finally, the rooms are very poorly soundproofed. We could hear every cry from the baby in the room next door as if they were inside our own room. None of us slept properly, including our child. The property itself is beautiful, but beautiful surroundings alone are not enough. A St. Regis should be defined by exceptional, attentive service. Unfortunately, this hotel falls far short of the standards its prices and brand promise set.”
“We’re currently organising our wedding from Australia and have spoken with probably 40 or 50 wedding venues during the process. We’ve only had one call with Nicoletta so far, but I genuinely felt I had to leave a review because she stood out so much. Nicoletta was incredibly lovely, helpful, thoughtful and kind throughout the entire call. She took the time to understand what we were looking for, answered everything so carefully, and genuinely seemed to be going the extra mile to help us. It never felt transactional at all. She was just an incredibly warm and thoughtful person to speak with. Having spoken with so many venues, you really notice when someone makes the experience feel different, and Nicoletta absolutely did that for us. She is a real testament to The St. Regis and the level of service the hotel represents. I’m sure Nicoletta receives plenty of wonderful feedback, but we really wanted to make sure we called her out personally because she deserves it. Thank you so much, Nicoletta. We’re really looking forward to hopefully being able to host our wedding at The St. Regis!”
“Very glad to have stayed here. Peaceful setting located in front of a tranquil cove with great hiking route, spacious room, great dining options, and intimate services. The lush garden is also a much-appreciated feature of this resort too. The only downside is that the restaurant by the see closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is a shame because their Jamaican Jerk Chicken is phenomenal.”
“Today, July 8, 2026 we waited in the lobby bar for about 15-20 minutes, but no one came to serve us. There was no bartender at the bar either. Just as we were about to leave, a bartender finally appeared and insisted that he had been at the counter the whole time. That was simply not true—we had been waiting there the entire time, and the bar was unattended. We decided to let it go and asked for the menu. We already knew exactly what we wanted to order, but while we were speaking to him, he turned around and started walking away before we had even finished talking. At that point, our patience ran out, and we left without ordering anything. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed what we had heard before arriving that the service here is far from the standard expected from a luxury hotel. We will not be returning. we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for truly five-star service.”
“A wonderful hotel with a very welcoming and highly professional team. My first choice for a stay in Mallorca. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the spa is excellent, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The Terra restaurant is great for both breakfast and lunch, and the bar offers lovely sea views. The location is very convenient, both for visiting Palma and exploring the island. The hotel is certainly not inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth the price.”
