Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 20 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Fontsanta Hotel Thermal & Spa - Adults Only is built around its thermal spa, which makes it the right call for couples and independent travellers who put restorative downtime ahead of a beachfront address. The thermal circuit combines a sauna, Turkish bath and thermal pools, and a gym rounds off the wellness side. Every room is a suite with a furnished terrace looking over the pool or garden, and the restaurant serves à la carte gourmet cooking. Free bicycles and free parking make it easy to explore the surrounding countryside. The beach is the compromise: Es Trenc is a short drive or bike ride away rather than a stroll.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 54 hotels we list on Mallorca is 9.1.
Featured in our guides: Luxury Hotels with Private Pools in Mallorca: 12 Selected and Ranked, 12 Luxury Adults-Only Hotels in Mallorca
- The thermal circuit includes a sauna, Turkish bath and thermal pools, offering a genuine wellness focus rather than a token spa area often found in comparable properties.
- Every room is a suite with a furnished terrace overlooking the pool or garden, giving guests generous private outdoor space rarely included at this category.
- The outdoor pool operates seasonally, so travelers visiting outside the warmer months will rely mainly on the indoor thermal pools for swimming.
- At 3.7 miles from Es Trenc Beach, guests need a short drive or the free bicycles to reach the coastline rather than walking directly from the hotel.

What guests say
Reviews from Google“We had an amazing 3-night stay at Fontsanta and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They even took care of our luggage from the car, which was such a thoughtful touch. One of my favorite details was that they packed us a beach basket every day, complete with towels, bottled water, and an umbrella. It made our beach outings effortless and showed how attentive they are to their guests. They were also incredibly helpful with the local area, giving us a great driving itinerary and recommending some beautiful calas to visit. The spa was peaceful, and incredibly relaxing, and the staff there were just as kind and helpful. Dinner each evening was outstanding. The pig was so delicious that we ordered it twice during our stay! The other hotel guests were also very nice to interact with. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. By the end of our stay, Fontsanta felt less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. We left feeling completely relaxed and would happily return.”
“Had a great returning stay to Fontsanta. The service goes beyond with everything running seamlessly and so detailed, even remembers specific like what coffee you like. The restaurant is so good with food presented really beautifully and tastes great and compares to any high end restaurant. Each day the hotel took us to different beaches, which were all really nice and natural. As well as offering yoga one morning which was a great start to the day. Really loved our stay and feel refleshed and can't recommend enough, normally I dont do reviews but the staff and hotel really deserves”
“I had a great experience at Fontsanta Hotel Restaurant. I was really impressed by the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and the quality of service. The food was excellent, and the adults-only setting made it feel even more relaxing and special. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a calm and refined dining experience.”
“We spent our honeymoon at the Fontsanta hotel and had the most relaxing trip. Very grateful for the excellent service we had from all of the staff. We loved the spa- the heated sauna and the ice room was a favourite. The swimming pools were lovely, with plenty of space to relax by the pool. The sunbeds have a QR code you can scan to order food/drinks to be brought to the poolside which worked really well. The room service to the room was also great - highly recommend the ham croquettes. The rooms were spacious and clean. We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, and went on to find some macarons and a bottle of sparkling wine in our room which was lovely. Breakfast was a continental selection and there was an option to order hot food as well - pancakes, omelettes, eggs etc. Really great selection, all very fresh and lots of healthy options. The hotel's location is a little remote- we took a taxi to one of the nearby towns Colonia. It was a set fee of 25euros each way - quite pricey! But if you dont have a car there's no public transport so you're a bit stuck. The hotel restaurant was delicious - breakfast, dinner and we tried the tasting menu as part of the honeymoon package- absolutely delicious and the matching wine was perfect. Such a relaxing, peaceful environment. The only areas for potential improvement- some areas in the thermal spa could do with some maintenance/deeper cleaning to ensure they were as clean as the rest of the spa. We also had a couples massage as part of the honeymoon package but when we arrived and tried to book this - we were told they didn't have any availability to book us in together. We ended up having two separate massages on different days which was still nice but not what we had paid for. We also borrowed e-bikes to cycle to the nearby es Trenc beach. We couldn't figure out where the hotel's beach building was so didn't try that out. We also didn't realise the cycle route to the beach is short - only 15mins or so but the start is down a big road with cars going really fast past us which wasn't that pleasant! The beach itself was also very crowded, lots of seaweed in the shallows and not that great in our opinion. But really overall we had an excellent time at the Fontsanta and really did not want to leave. Highly recommend this hotel and loved every minute we were there.”
“We stayed at this lovely, relaxing hotel for 5 nights after visiting Palma. The Michelin-starred restaurant was delicious but pricey, and staff didn’t clearly explain dining options like the tasting menu, which required advance notice. Not having a rental car was a drawback, though reception helpfully arranged one for us. The spa was great with unlimited access, but the Jacuzzi didn’t work properly and treatments were fully booked until our last day. Our deluxe double room with terrace was spacious, though only one bottle of water per day for two people was inconvenient, and extra requests weren’t always fulfilled. Overall, a nice stay—ideal for a weekend or if you have a car.”
