Tripplo’s hotel summary

Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels

Intimate rather than grand, Can Cera Hotel suits couples who want a characterful base in Palma's historic centre from which to explore on foot. The hotel fills a 17th-century Mallorcan house where antiques share the rooms with contemporary artwork, so no two spaces feel quite the same. The spa offers private access, so you are unlikely to share it with a crowd, and the restaurant serves Mediterranean cooking. The cathedral, boutiques and old-town restaurants are all within walking distance. Deluxe rooms measure 28–37 m² and Premium rooms 37–40 m² according to the hotel.

Set within a restored 17th-century house in the heart of Palma's old town, Can Cera Hotel pairs historic architecture with a considered contemporary interior. Its intimate scale, on-site spa, and central old-town location make it particularly suited to couples seeking a quiet, character-filled base for exploring the city on foot.

Guests score it 9.4 out of 10 — the average across the 54 hotels we list on Mallorca is 9.1.

“We had an absolutely amazing stay at Can Cera. We stayed in one of the beautiful suites the day before and the day after our wedding, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The hotel is a peaceful and elegant oasis in the heart of Palma, the perfect place to relax and escape the vibrant city while still being right in the center. The staff were incredibly professional, attentive and kind. They supported us with every single request and truly went above and beyond to make our stay around such a special occasion unforgettable. Thank you to the whole Can Cera team for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back! ❤️ Yaiza & Stefan”

“We had an incredible stay at Hotel Can Sera Palma Mallorca. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly made our trip unforgettable was the outstanding service. A special thank you to Benjamin and David for going above and beyond throughout our stay. They took the time to help us plan each day, recommending the best beaches, restaurants, and places to visit, and their suggestions were absolutely perfect. Their local knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made exploring Mallorca so easy and enjoyable. Everyone at the hotel was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Hotel Can Cera to anyone visiting Mallorca. We can’t wait to come back!”

“I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s magically crafted as a former palace rehabilitated into a hotel so the entire facility is stunning. Perhaps the only thing better than the facility itself is the staff - special shoutout to Danny and his incredible hospitality. The entire staff, everyone we encountered, was friendly, helpful, and made you feel at home. Any time we had questions about anything in Palma they were there to help. The team made our stay one to remember and we will definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Palma.”

“We just returned from our most special trip yet — our wedding — and Hotel Can Cera made it absolutely unforgettable. This was our second stay, and honestly, it just keeps getting better. There is no other place in Palma that matches the service and prestige of this hotel. Walking in, we were greeted with the most gorgeous, oversized floral bouquet and a sweet welcome-back note from the team. It's those personal touches that make this place feel less like a hotel and more like somewhere that genuinely knows and cares about you. We stayed in the Suite Can Cera and wow — just wow. Stunningly decorated, spotlessly clean, and so beautifully maintained. It's the kind of room you don't want to leave. Every detail felt intentional and special. We would like to specially thank two people who truly made our stay: Benjamin and Naomi. These two were incredible from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out — always one step ahead, making sure everything ran smoothly without us ever having to worry about a thing. On the morning of the wedding, Benjamin was so wonderfully attentive, making sure my bridesmaids and I had everything we needed while we were getting ready. The service here is next-level — warm, personal, and genuinely thoughtful in a way that's hard to find anywhere else. If you're planning a trip to Palma, this is the place to stay. You will not regret it. We absolutely cannot wait to come back. 🤍”

“Beautiful place. Incredibly stylish with high ceilings and an open courtyard. Period features and peaceful waterfeatures. A private spa you book by the hour. The rooms are spectacular. Our room was the junior suite and we had a balcony, huge bathroom, minibar, massive bed, Bluetooth speaker, TV...etc. the staff... wow.. off the charts nice. You get the full formal 5star customer service but still feel part of a lovely little family. The food?? Amazing. Lovely breakfast options and the tapas at dinnertime was incredible. All in all; worth every penny”
