Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 20 October 2026 · How we review hotels
For adults who want to walk from their room straight onto the sand, Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc -Adults only- is a strong choice on Mallorca's south coast. The hotel sits directly on Es Trenc beach near Colònia de Sant Jordi, and many rooms have balconies facing the sea. Wellness goes beyond a token sauna: there is a spa, a fitness centre and yoga classes, plus cycling and snorkelling. The kitchen moves between Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Moroccan cooking, which keeps longer stays interesting. Es Trenc is a well-known natural beach, however, and in high summer day-trippers fill the public stretches nearby.
Guests score it 9.0 out of 10 — the average across the 54 hotels we list on Mallorca is 9.1.
Featured in our guide: 11 Luxury Beachfront Hotels in Mallorca
- The hotel sits directly on Es Trenc, one of Mallorca's most photographed stretches of coastline, allowing guests to step from the sun terrace onto sand without transfers or shuttle rides.
- With no children on the property, common areas, the pool, and dining spaces retain a calmer, more adult-oriented atmosphere, suited to couples or solo travelers seeking rest.
- Families traveling with children will need to look elsewhere, as the adults-only policy restricts the hotel exclusively to adult guests.
- Because Es Trenc is a well-known natural beach, public sections nearby can draw day-trippers during peak summer months, even though hotel access remains more direct and private.

Reviews from Google“Special thanks to Emily and Turkan at the front desk for their outstanding Customer Service going above and beyond to help us during our stay! Ivan and Pablo from the bar made us some brilliant cocktails and give us great service with food as well. This hotel is absolutely incredible: beautiful ocean views amongst an outdoor swimming pool, sunbeds and very cool hippie vibes. The detail in the rooms of having towels, a bag, suncream, games and much more all hung on the wall was a brilliant extra touch. We went as a couple and had an unbelievable stay, so couldn’t recommend this enough!”
“Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc is a real gem. The location is fantastic — you can reach the sea from the hotel in less than two minutes. The pool area is spacious and perfect for relaxing during the day, with great music and a really nice vibe. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. It is also peaceful, with good sound insulation, so it is easy to fully relax. The staff are extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming — honestly, this is probably one of the most hospitable places I have stayed. NENI restaurant is another highlight. The food is fresh, interesting, and full of great options. Breakfast is also excellent, with plenty of variety and nothing to complain about. For anyone who likes to work out, the gym is quite small and basic, but it is not a big downside. The hotel is more about yoga, relaxation, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings — and the view is fantastic. Overall, an amazing hotel with a great atmosphere, beautiful location, and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended.”
“This was our second year staying at this hotel, and the property is still as beautiful as we remembered. We really enjoyed coming back. The restaurant and breakfast are still very good, although quite often we had to ask for items that were missing or had not been replenished. José at breakfast deserves a special mention – he was always extremely friendly, welcoming and efficient. Unfortunately, the service was a little inconsistent this year. One of the managers was not particularly friendly, and we had a similar experience with the lifeguard. On one occasion, our room was not cleaned at all, and we were disappointed that we did not receive a proper apology from the staff. The beach beds were also often quite dirty and could definitely be cleaned more regularly. Another disappointment was that parking is now charged, whereas it was complimentary during our previous stay. Finally, we found the beds quite hard and not particularly comfortable. Overall, we still had a very enjoyable stay and the hotel remains a beautiful place that we like very much. However, considering these details and the slightly less consistent level of service this year, I feel that 4 stars rather than 5 is a fair rating.”
“Our stay at Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc was simply outstanding and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into a relaxed, friendly, and beautifully designed atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of Mallorca. The hotel itself is immaculate, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with a unique vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Every corner of the hotel reflects thoughtful care and creativity. A special thank you goes to Monika at the reception, who was exceptionally kind, warm, and professional. Her genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. The room was full of delightful surprises. There was a small candle and a fragrance diffuser creating a wonderful ambiance, a postcard that guests can send to anyone at the hotel’s expense, and an incredibly thoughtful hanging organizer filled with useful items for guests to borrow. Inside, you can find things like a hat for sunny days, an insulated water bottle that keeps drinks cold, sunscreen, games, a Rubik’s Cube, and even a beach tote bag. It honestly felt like the hotel team had thought of absolutely everything a guest might need. Another fantastic touch was the water stations located throughout the hotel, offering still water at room temperature, chilled water, and sparkling water free of charge. Such a simple idea, yet so appreciated. The breakfast was excellent, with a rich and varied selection of fresh and delicious food. What impressed us even more was the relaxed and trusting atmosphere. You can comfortably enjoy your breakfast and coffee, and even take a piece of fruit with you for later without feeling watched or restricted. The entire staff is genuinely friendly, approachable, and eager to make guests feel comfortable. I have traveled to many places, but I have never experienced service quite like this. The combination of exceptional hospitality, thoughtful details, a laid-back atmosphere, and wonderful staff makes this hotel truly special. I wholeheartedly recommend Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc to anyone visiting Mallorca. It is one of those rare places that doesn’t just provide accommodation—it creates an experience you’ll remember long after you’ve returned home. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!”
“We absolutely loved our 4 night stay at this hotel. The Location, the team, the food, the facilities and the rooms are all 5* and exceeded our expectations by far. We love the location..... a bit tucked away and quiet, with direct access to the Ocean to go for a swim. We actually appreciated the fact that we could swim right in front of the hotel and had the advantage of using the hotel pool loungers which are super comfortable. This meant that we could enjoy the day at the hotel, didn't had to drive to crowded beaches and fight for parking and loungers. There is also a nice coastal pathway along the shore. The hotel has a viby and relaxed atmosphere with a friendly and dynamic team, which will go the extra mile for you. Breakfast is served in- and outdoor ....ocean views guaranteed and the selection on the buffet is plentiful, with daily variations, local specialities, fresh juices, warm dishes etc... The perfect start to the day. Our room was spacious with a beautiful balcony and sea view, the bed the best I have slept in, with very high quality linen. The soaps and body lotion in the room were so nice, I wish I could have bought some to take home☺️ Highly recommended.”
