Set within tropical gardens, Hotel Fariones has direct access cove in Puerto del Carmen. The main infinity pool is surrounded by palm trees and an infinity pool on rooftop with panoramic views… Read more
Why this position
Among the three highest guest scores of the 12 hotels we rank here — 9.5 from 536 reviews. Leads the ranking on the weight of evidence: 536 reviews to #2's 283, although #2 scores higher (9.8 to 9.5).
Lani's Suites de Luxe is a hotel for couples who want the sea on their doorstep and service that anticipates their needs… It is a small, adults-only suites hotel for guests aged 16 and over, set on the beachfront in Puerto del Carmen, and every suite has a terrace or balcony looking over the ocean and the pool. Guests speak most warmly about the staff, who many say could not do enough for them, followed by the spotless suites, comfortable beds, the breakfast and the beach-side restaurant. The trade-offs are few. The hotel is priced at the top end, the fitness room across the street is small and basic, and Puerto del Carmen around it is a busy resort that not everyone takes to. Couples who want to stay put by the pool and eat well in-house will find it hard to leave; travellers looking for a quiet village atmosphere should look elsewhere on the island.
Why this position
Highest guest score of the 12 hotels we rank here — 9.8 from 283 reviews. Scores higher than #1 (9.8 to 9.5), on a smaller body of reviews (283 to 536).
CalaLanzarote Suites Hotel is a hotel for couples who want peace above all… It is a five-star, adults-only boutique hotel for guests aged 16 and over, set above the sea at Playa Blanca, with an infinity pool at its heart and suites and villas, some with their own pool. Guests speak most warmly about the staff, the calm, the spacious suites and the breakfast, and several are on their second or third stay. Marina Rubicón is a few minutes' walk away, which makes dinner out easy. The same quiet is the main trade-off. Evenings at the hotel are low-key, the bar does not stay open late, and some guests tired of the playlist at the pool bar and breakfast. A few noticed small housekeeping lapses, such as lumpy pillows. Couples who want to read by the pool and stroll to the marina for dinner will find it a restful base; travellers after nightlife at the hotel should look elsewhere.
Why this position
Among the three highest guest scores of the 12 hotels we rank here — 9.3 from 1,303 reviews. Rests on more guest reviews than #2 (1,303 to 283), at a slightly lower score (9.3 to 9.8).

César Lanzarote Luxury Boutique Hotel is for couples who care about design and calm more than a beachfront address… It is a small, adults-only hotel for guests aged 16 and over, set in a restored historic house on a former farm estate at La Asomada, in the hills inland from Puerto Calero, with views across the island to the sea. Guests speak most warmly about the design and its many thoughtful touches, the friendly staff, the breakfast on the terrace and the sunsets from the infinity pool. The trade-offs are mostly practical. Dinner does not quite reach the level of breakfast, the wifi is weak, and on a rainy day there are few sheltered places to sit. The rural setting also means that a car is useful for beaches and restaurants. Couples who want to unwind in beautiful surroundings will feel at home; anyone who wants the sea and nightlife within walking distance should stay on the coast.
Why this position
Scores higher than #8 (9.2 to 8.6), on a smaller body of reviews (203 to 1,317).
This property is best for adults (16+) wanting an all-inclusive stay on the Costa Teguise beachfront… Guests single out its César Manrique heritage architecture and gardens. While local experiences are included in the rate, guests should note that some of these Destination Inclusive experiences are strictly reserved for superior room grades.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #9 (334 to 203), at a slightly lower score (8.9 to 9.2).

Villa VIK - Hotel Boutique is an adults-only hotel, and it is made for guests who want quiet above all… It sits in a residential street near Playa del Cable on the edge of Arrecife, 200 metres from a calm, sandy beach, with spacious rooms, a large heated pool and a hot tub in the garden. Because the hotel is so small, the pool is rarely busy, there is no background music and the staff get to know their guests; their warmth and care are what reviews return to most, followed by the food. The small size also has a downside. When the team is short-handed, service in the restaurant and bar slows down, and the dinner menu is brief. Apart from the beach there is little within walking distance, so shopping and dinners out mean a taxi, a bus or a 20-minute walk to Arrecife. Couples looking for rest and privacy will feel at home; travellers who want buzz around them should look elsewhere.
Why this position
Scores higher than #10 (9.0 to 8.9), on a smaller body of reviews (110 to 334).
Couples seeking adults-only calm on the Puerto Calero cliffs will appreciate this Hyatt Inclusive Collection resort… It boasts an Unlimited-Luxury package featuring six restaurants with no reservations needed. However, the rocky Puerto Calero shore means this is strictly a pool-first resort rather than a sandy beach destination, so beach-lovers should plan accordingly.
Why this position
Rests on more guest reviews than #11 (2,063 to 110), at a slightly lower score (8.5 to 9.0).

Every hotel counts once, at its own typical price, so hotels we happened to check more often don't carry more weight. Prices are the lowest rate available for the whole stay, worked out per night in euros.

How we chose these hotels
At our latest review (August 2026) the properties listed above were measured against the same standard: sustained guest scores on both Booking.com and Google — weighted by how many reviews sit behind them — five-star class or an equivalent premium level, a genuinely first-rate location, and facilities that set the hotel apart.
As a guideline we look for around 8.5 or higher on Booking.com, but no single number decides on its own — when the sources disagree, the broader evidence wins. Guest scores on this page update continuously, and the selection is re-reviewed at regular intervals. The full standard is described in how we choose hotels.
