Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 21 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Eco-conscious travellers seeking a quiet hillside setting will find this boutique option appealing. It stands out for its renewable energy use, clean suites with Atlantic views, and two restaurants plus a pool bar serving Canarian and international dishes. The main trade-off is that walking to the beach near Playa Chica involves negotiating inclines, and immediate nightlife options are limited.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 19 hotels we list on Lanzarote is 9.0.
- The hotel utilizes advanced geothermal and solar energy systems to significantly minimize its carbon footprint, offering guests a sustainable luxury experience that respects the local volcanic biosphere.
- Overlooking the ocean, the minimalist suites feature private terraces, sleek contemporary decor, and state-of-the-art climate control, ensuring a comfortable sanctuary after a day of exploration.
- Due to its elevated hillside location, the walk back from Playa Chica Beach involves some steep slopes, which may prove challenging for those with limited mobility.
- The immediate neighborhood is residential and tranquil, meaning those seeking vibrant nightlife will need to take a short taxi ride to the busier parts of Puerto del Carmen.

Reviews from Google“This is a really great adults only place to stay. The Kentia Club restaurant has a great bar and menu, the breakfast is expansive and includes a menu meal if desired. The hotel is friendly and I have had an issue finding staff to answer a question. The pool area is busy and has a bar/food service till 6. the pool is more cooling off than swimming the walk to the "ton" is about 10 minutes max where you can find the bards, restaurants and shops but you don't hear the noise from the bars at the hotel. the walk back up the hill from the harbor is interesting but walking into town with the variety of restaurants is worth it. The room was clean and spacious and we had a wonderful view of the sea. Definately recommend”
“We stayed at the hotel for a week. The hotel is lovely, quiet when its not full, and lovely view and good location We would like to thank Daniella guest relations, she is a great asset to the hotel. She adds value , customer service and is very helpful. Great to talk to and fantastic service Thanks Daniella Leon in the pool ba is great friendly funny and great service full of energy :) Over all the hotel was great , there were a few areas I would have liked better for a 5 star. The rooms great size, but pillow and bed are uncomfortable and yhe cleaners do not deep clean daily The pool area is fantastic cannot fault that Reception, would be nice to see a luxuary lobby seating area There is not enough food choice in the hotel pool bar to cater for everyone Also the restaurants are a let down We had to eat out daily”
“we stayed at the hotel for two weeks and had a fantastic time. I would like to thank Carlos for his exceptional service. He was attentive, professional and even taught us some Spanish! Carlos made our experience at the hotel extra special - thank you. I would also like to thank Hakim, another waiter at the hotel, who was very polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and sea view was a nice touch.”
“The location is perfectly balanced—nestled in a peaceful spot that offers stunning views of the Atlantic while remaining within an easy stroll of the harbor’s energy. The staff provides a level of service that feels both elite and genuinely warm; every interaction is handled with a professionalism that makes the entire stay feel effortless. Culinary Excellence The dining experience is where this hotel truly separates itself from the rest. The revolving menu ensures that every evening feels like a new discovery rather than a repeat. Italian Night: Absolutely phenomenal. The authenticity of the flavors and the execution of the dishes brought a true taste of Italy to the islands. Asian Night: A sumptuous spread. The variety and quality of the fresh sushi were outstanding—vibrant, expertly prepared, and incredibly satisfying.”
“The hotel is in a good location, and the rooms were fairly decent. However, we had to call reception several times to get issues with our room sorted out, and it seemed that other guests were experiencing the same problems. The service was generally good, apart from a couple of members of staff who made the experience quite unpleasant. The tall waitress who wore shorts looked rather untidy and appeared to have poor personal hygiene. At the pool bar, whenever we asked about the food, instead of being helpful she just left us even more confused, so we decided not to eat there again. Then there was Daniela, who kept approaching us every day and seemed to think that offering us complimentary invitations would solve every issue. Their attitude made our stay quite unpleasant. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, and I certainly wouldn’t stay here again.”
