Rooms & which one to pick
Our tip: Couples wanting a private pool should book the Grand Suite with Private Pool (80 m², garden access) or, for more space, the Royal Suite with Private Pool (100 m², glass-walled bathroom, marble bath). Couples after extra room without a pool can choose the Superior Deluxe Suite (70 m², private bathroom) or the Grand Egyptian Suite (90 m², king bed, garden access). What guests say
Reviews from Google“I spent a week at the hotel with my wife and had the most amazing time. All the staff were fantastic, beach was pristine and the food was Michelin star worthy. All the staff made my wife’s birthday extra special and seemed honestly pleased to have us. A special thank you to Mr Hagag for always providing the best service during breakfast and dinner. His attentive care and knowledge on the menu made it a great experience. Also Mr Mohammed, our housekeeper for being kind, thoughtful and making us smile everyday. Thank you all!”
“We had an unforgettable honeymoon at The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh, staying in both Grand Suites, and every moment exceeded our expectations. The suites were stunning, spacious, spotless, and offered complete privacy. The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful and luxurious. Thank you to everyone at The Oberoi for making our honeymoon so memorable. We can't wait to come back! مكان فوق الممتاز تعامل احترافي اكلهم جميل وشيك وذوقهم عالي”
“If you are looking for real luxury in Egypt, this is the place to be. From the second we entered this place, we felt in a completely new atmosphere and dream. The highlights: Everything really - The staff at the restaurants: I've rarely seen such a caring and amazing staff, they genuinely want you to enjoy your trip and your moment. A huge thanks to Wael, A. Attar (hope we spell his name correctly) and their manager that really wanted us to feel literally at home. - The infinity pool and the calm around this area. They also provided us with sunscreen and tanning oil which is amazing! - The gym opened 24/7 - The quality of the food - The amazing housekeeping staff, specially Rabea (Rabih) who gave us the best service in our room - The amazing activities proposed by the hotel such as the sand art and camel rides (free activities) Downsides: - The overpriced spa massage compared to other five stars hotels in the region - The overpriced rides to the airport (70$ for 15 min) - I would recommend to order one outside of hotel We did the horse ride at the sunset and it was an amazing memory for us that we will never forget, we were alone on the beach at the sunset it was so beautiful. Overall, this is one of the best hotel I've ever been to. If you go to Hurgada and you are looking for a luxurious setup, away from cheap animations and over crowded hotels, this is a hidden gem. Will definitely come back.”
“Great hotel, an oasis in the Hurghada area. This is a very well run, generous hotel where nothing really is too much trouble. Amazing staff, especially the barman Wael who is professional and friendly. Food is very good, the curries are incredible. Dive centre is excellent, snorkeling also good off the pier. Rooms are all suites but are beginning to show their age. Gardens are well maintained and pool heated to a sensible temperature. All in all brilliant.”
“we expected an overall cleaner/better experience, we were allocated a room far from pool, beach, restaurant, the room was outdated, the coffee machine at the room was never cleaned after use. The food was ok but the buffet was a bit limited and desserts wasnt the best. We just expected more when we booked at the "Oberoi" thats our honest feedback. Update: someone from the hotel actually cares about our experience and called us to apologize and make it right, we highly appreciate him being genuinely respectful and responsible. He made sure to listen to everything we had to say and handled the matter professionally, Thanks Mr. Maher”
