Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 21 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Riad l'Oiseau du Paradis is perfect for budget-conscious luxury travellers wanting authentic Moroccan design near major landmarks. Guests appreciate the rooftop terrace offering Koutoubia views and its convenient location near Jamaâ El Fna. However, the indoor plunge pool is quite compact, and reaching the property requires navigating narrow, winding access streets that can be difficult to manage.
Guests score it 9.4 out of 10 — the average across the 18 hotels we list in Marrakech is 9.4.
- The rooftop terrace serves as a quiet escape from the bustling medina, offering clear views of the Koutoubia Mosque alongside traditional carved furniture and plush, colorful textiles.
- Situated just a ten-minute walk from the lively Jamaâ El Fna Square, the riad provides easy access to key cultural sites while remaining tucked away in a quieter residential alley.
- The indoor pool is relatively small and designed primarily for a quick, cooling dip rather than swimming. Guests seeking expansive swim facilities may find it limiting.
- Located deep within the historic medina, the surrounding lanes can be difficult to navigate initially. Utilizing the hotel's airport shuttle is recommended for a seamless arrival.

Reviews from Google“My friend and I stayed at the Riad for 4 nights and it was one of the best things about our trip! The Riad is beautifully very well maintained. There is 24 hour staff at site and everyone puts so much effort for you to feel comfortable. The breakfast selection is small, but delicious and great to start the day. The rooms are very pretty, clean and well maintained. The bathroom doors remind more of changing room doors, but you get used to it. The Spa program is also very nice, definitely recommending the sultan hammam and facial. Do not do the manicure though, that one was the only thing we didn’t love. Else, a 10/10 experience, wholeheartedly recommend!”
“Stunning Riad just a short walk from the Medina. We stayed one night wish it was more! The peace and tranquility was just what we needed. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We also had a hammam and massage on site which was lovely after a busy souk shopping trip!!”
“Absolutely stunning Riad! Every corner of it was crafted with attention to detail. The ambiance quickly made you feel relaxed and the massage was 10/10. We had a beautiful stay!”
“VERY VERY NICE!! I just spent 2 weeks traveling around Morocco and this is by far the best riad we have stayed in. The staff is also unbelievably nice!!!!!!!!!! They went above and beyond our expectations in every way! I definitely would stay here again and highly recommend!!!”
“This is a great option if you are planning to stay in Medina. The location is great, the rooms are clean and the stuff is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. They serve breakfast and dinner in a lovely are at the centre of the riad. The atmosphere is calm and makes you feel like home. The breakfast is delicious! We also had dinner upon our arrival, a delicious chicken tajine, all in a reasonable price.”
