Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Les Jardins De La Médina is best for those who prefer a quiet, historic setting with lush outdoor spaces. Set in a quiet Kasbah location, it features a mature Andalusian garden, a heated pool surrounded by olive trees, and a traditional hammam. Potential drawbacks include restricted vehicle access directly to the entrance and an audible early morning call to prayer.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 18 hotels we list in Marrakech is 9.4.
- The property centers around a historic 19th-century riad, featuring an expansive garden filled with centuries-old olive trees, orange blossoms, and towering palms that provide a serene, shaded microclimate.
- The on-site spa specializes in traditional Moroccan wellness, offering authentic black soap scrubs and organic argan oil massages inside a private, clay-tiled hammam.
- Due to the historic, narrow layout of the Kasbah streets, vehicles cannot drive directly to the front door. However, the hotel provides a complimentary porter service to transport luggage from the taxi drop-off.
- The proximity to local minarets means the early morning call to prayer is clearly audible inside some rooms. Light sleepers may want to request a garden-facing room or pack earplugs.

What guests say
Reviews from Google“Stunning hotel that went above and beyond to make our stay a great one! Upon arrival, whilst waiting to check in; we were given welcome drinks and snacks that gave our holiday a nice start. The staff were great especially Akram who was very kind, courteous and helpful. Meanwhile the room we had was fantastic! You get to choose an aroma prior to checking in and the whole decor and furnishings were pretty much brand new. Very comfortable and cosy stay here. Loved it! Scenery as well was really good. Very atmospheric and tranquil. Lots of palm trees and greenery. Really nice! Highly recommend staying here! Great hotel.”
“We had a fantastic stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We also loved the breakfast, especially the fresh omelettes made to order by the chef. The outstanding customer service really made the difference. We felt genuinely well looked after throughout our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.”
“We visited Les Jardins de la Medina for a hammam, massage, facial and pedicure after seeing consistently excellent reviews, so unfortunately our experience didn’t match our expectations. I debated writing this because the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming throughout our visit, and I want to acknowledge that because everyone we interacted with was lovely. That said, I didn’t feel the treatments reflected the price point, especially when there are so many spas to choose from in Marrakech. The facial consisted primarily of two masks with approximately 10 minutes of waiting alone in the treatment room after each application. It felt much less comprehensive than what I normally expect from a spa facial. The biggest disappointment was the pedicure. I had booked a 30-minute service but was charged for a 60-minute pedicure without that being discussed beforehand (my husband paid while I was in the treatment room). That would have been ok if they had delivered on the service, but the quality of the treatment was extremely underwhelming. The whole thing last about 35 minutes. The foot soak was lukewarm, the foot massage lasted less than a minute (maybe 45 seconds?), the nail polish selection appeared old and disorganized (it was jumbled around in a basket with the polishes on their sides and half-dried out), the nails were only filed, and the finished polish was uneven enough that I ended up having it redone elsewhere. Overall, we spent approximately €350 at the spa. For that price, I expected a more polished, attentive experience. If you’re looking for a beautiful property with friendly staff, you’ll likely enjoy your visit. If you’re specifically seeking exceptional spa treatments, it may be worth comparing some of the other highly-rated spas in Marrakech before booking.”
“An absolutely exceptional dinner experience—one that feels almost magical from beginning to end. Beyond the undeniable beauty of the المكان, every detail is curated with remarkable taste and sensitivity. As night falls, the atmosphere becomes even more enchanting—intimate, refined, and effortlessly captivating. The service was truly impeccable: warm, attentive, and genuinely kind without ever being intrusive. The staff made us feel welcomed and cared for in the most natural and elegant way. Every element—from the setting to the attention to detail—was simply superlative. A place that doesn’t just meet expectations, but elevates them. Without a doubt, a destination I would return to and highly recommend.”
“The most pleasant surprise of our trip to Marrakesh. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, you feel the tranquility as soon as you enter from the street. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The gardens, dotted with flowering fruit trees, are stunning - there are many seating areas in the gardens where you can enjoy a drink. The heated pool is the largest in the area. The hotel has about 20 small tortoises that roam the gardens throughout the day, you’ll often find them sunbathing throughout the property. The resident cat is also very friendly! We ate dinner twice at the restaurant - it is “elevated” Moroccan cuisine, with international options available too. The Moroccan dishes were all very good. We also enjoyed treatments at the on-site spa, which were very relaxing and reasonably priced. This is a very solid boutique 5* - different from the many “palace” hotels in Marrakesh, but this is what makes the place so special. The staff truly make you feel like you’re at home, and the service is caring and attentive. This hotel delivered the best example of genuine Moroccan hospitality. I would return to Marrakesh just to stay at this hotel again. My only regret is that we were not able to extend our stay, as the hotel was understandably fully booked!”
