“This hotel is beautiful and cozy. Service was great. Bed was comfy and we had a rather large room for Paris. 4 stars only because it’s not the absolute best room you can find in Paris. Breakfast was also good but the croissants not the best. I’d say for a weekend absolutely stay here but if for longer you might not love being so close to Champs Elysees because the commercial aspect and heavy tourism gets a bit old and there are much cuter neighborhoods.”

“Beautiful boutique hotel right off the Champs Élysées. We had a fantastic stay there, the staff was extremely attentive to all our needs. The hotel and the overall guest experience felt intimate and personalized. Stay for lunch or dinner in their delicious restaurant, and ask for Monica for a relaxing massage. Centrally located on metro line one for fast and easy access to all the sights and shopping. I would stay there again. Highly recommend.”

“I’m very disappointed with my experience at Monsieur George Hotel & Spa. I arrived early because I had been told that early check-in would be possible. However, when I arrived, the receptionist Élise informed me that it wasn’t available and was quite dismissive. There was little effort to help or offer any alternative solution. The spa is also extremely small with almost no space to sit or relax, which was surprising considering how it is presented. Combined with the rude and unresponsive service, the experience felt far below expectations for a hotel at this price level.”

“Monsieur George is a charming boutique hotel in a wonderful location, and our room had an absolutely beautiful Eiffel Tower view that made the stay feel extra special! The location was nice too, a quick five-minute walk along the Champs-Élysées gets you to the Arc de Triomphe, or a 25–35 minute walk in the opposite direction down the Champs gets you to the Tuileries Garden, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. They aren’t just good, they are exceptional. Warm, thoughtful, present, and genuinely invested in their guests’ happiness. The way they cared for us throughout the entire stay made a huge impression. And then there is Christopher. Every hotel has employees; very few have a Christopher. He is the heartbeat of this property. Professional, attentive, intuitive, and always one step ahead of what you might need. The Monsieur George is lucky to have him, and he is one of the BIGGEST reasons our stay felt so special. The only reason this isn’t a five-star review is the room cleanliness, which didn’t meet the level expected for a luxury property. Everything else —the view, the location, and especially the staff— was wonderful.”

“Update Following Formal Guild Determination I previously stayed at Monsieur George Hotel & Spa and had an experience involving concierge Christopher that raised concerns for me regarding representation of professional affiliation. At the time, the hotel responded publicly and referred to the matter as a misunderstanding. I subsequently submitted a formal complaint to Les Clefs d’Or for review. On February 4, 2026, I was notified that Christopher was expelled from Les Clefs d’Or due to misrepresentation of the organization. I waited until the appeal period had passed before posting this update. While many guests have shared positive experiences, I believe it is appropriate to share the outcome of the formal review so prospective guests are fully informed. This review reflects my personal experience and the official determination that was communicated to me. My initial review submitted to the hotel and trip advisor is below: Bon jour, Written to hotel & posted on trip advisor I'm madam Ndiaye. I resided at your hotel in late September. Since a review of my experience was not requested, I thought I would share. First, I would rate 3 out of 5 stars. The 3 points are for the reception/check in/front desk staff, the housekeeping, restaurant service staff and other staff that supported my stay (specifically a young Black male who came to check on the heat in my room several times). Upon arrival they were professional and greeted me with a smile and warmth. They were all helpful, professional and supportive during my stay. The minus 2 stars is for the concierge services (specifically the white, male, French man that worked early mornings and usually left around 2:30 - 3:00 pm). He is a hustler. My experience with him: I began discussion with him regarding my interest in attending the biannual Foire de Chatou antiques fair. He stated he was interested in going himself and would take me I think the next day for free. I accepted his offer and intended to pay for the petro for the car and trip. The day he scheduled for us to go he pulled me aside- while I was eating my breakfast and informed me that not only was that day not convenient for him, if we went another day he would charge me 200 euros. He then left my dining table. Later he returned to the area whereby I called him over and stated, what has changed? Initially you stated free, then you couldn't go and now after speaking with someone else you say 200 euros. He then began to negotiate a lower price, and we settled on 50 euros and a time, after he was off work, the following day. Before leaving the table he expressly stated, don't tell anyone. We went. I paid him 50 euros and paid 10 euros for the parking. Well, this was my experience with him - an attempt to hustle me for 200 euros in his role as a professional concierge at the Monsieur George hotel and spa. Ndiaye”
