Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Les Jardins du Faubourg Hotel & Spa by Shiseido is well-suited for families seeking a quiet wellness retreat in the 8th arrondissement. Standout features include a Shiseido spa partnership and a rare indoor pool in central Paris. Be aware, however, that there is limited on-site dining variety, and wellness services carry premium pricing.
Guests score it 8.7 out of 10 — the average across the 20 hotels we list in Paris is 9.2.
- The dedicated Shiseido spa offers a refined wellness experience with tailored treatments, a hammam, and a fitness center, providing a serene escape from the busy Parisian streets.
- Tucked away in a quieter pocket of the prestigious 8th arrondissement, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Tuileries Garden and upscale boutiques on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
- While the hotel serves an excellent breakfast and features a sophisticated bar, the onsite lunch and dinner options are somewhat limited. However, the surrounding neighborhood is filled with acclaimed bistros.
- Access to specific spa treatments and private wellness sessions comes at a high price point. Guests should budget accordingly, though the quality of the Shiseido therapies justifies the expense.

Reviews from Google“I had an incredible experience at Hôtel Les Jardins du Faubourg Spa. From the moment I checked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive, creating a relaxing atmosphere from start to finish. My massage with Isabel was outstanding. She was kind, thorough, and took the time to listen carefully to my needs before beginning the treatment. Throughout the massage, she consistently checked to make sure the pressure was comfortable and adjusted it perfectly. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the experience feel personalized and exceptionally relaxing. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and well cared for. Thank you to Isabel and the entire spa team for such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone visiting Paris and looking for a truly relaxing and professional treatment.”
“Stylish, understated boutique hotel in the heart of Paris' trendy 8th. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with artworks and picture lights offering a delightful French flair. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful.”
“This hotel could be a jewel if managed properly. Is nice to come for a lunch in the garden but definitely not to for overnight stay…😔 Unfortunately service is none existent, Spa area is dirty and smelly while the rooms are not cleaned properly and need urgent reparations… Not worth the money .”
“From check-in to checkout, our experience was flawless. Carl at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, and we loved our room — beautifully designed with a bathtub and private steam room. The hotel is small, stylish, and perfectly located (we were in town for Paris Photo at the Grand Palais). We made great use of the pool and sauna downstairs, which were fantastic after long days out. Breakfast was another standout: a cozy dining room, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, and delicious made-to-order dishes. Anaïs greeted us every morning with a smile and hot coffee, which made the start to each day even better. Carl also offered excellent local restaurant and activity recommendations. Overall, completely worth the cost — we’ll absolutely be back.”
“Amazing location in a very safe neighbourhood, and a special thanks to Gulliame for making our stay unforgettable unforgettable!! Always solving any minor issues 👍 Hotel is very cozy, makes you feel at home stayed for approximately 10 nights 😍”
