Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Hotel Villa Pascucci is a consideration for travellers seeking wellness amenities and tennis facilities away from the shoreline. It stands out for its manicured gardens, outdoor pool area, and an on-site professional tennis court. Guests also have access to a diverse breakfast with dietary-specific options. Mind its distance from the central beach area, alongside a traditional and formal atmosphere.
Guests score it 8.9 out of 10 — the average across the 7 hotels we list in Durrës is 9.1.
- The dedicated spa zone includes a sauna, steam room, and hot tub, providing a structured environment for relaxation. These facilities complement the two swimming pools, offering year-round aquatic options for guests seeking physical recovery.
- Morning service extends beyond standard continental fare to include specific vegan and gluten-free menus. This level of customization ensures that guests with specific nutritional requirements are well-catered to throughout their stay without prior arrangement.
- Situated slightly inland, the property requires a short drive or shuttle to reach the immediate Durrës shoreline. While this ensures a quieter environment, guests seeking direct beach access may find the commute an extra step in their itinerary.
- The 5-star service and architectural style lean toward a more formal and traditional experience. Travelers looking for a laid-back, modern-casual vibe might find the structured environment and decor slightly more conventional than expected.

Reviews from Google“One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had and definitely the best hotel in Albania for us. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The hotel is extremely clean, beautiful and located in such a quiet and peaceful area, which makes it perfect for relaxing. The staff are amazing — everyone is so kind, polite, helpful and understanding, and they really make you feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed and very comfortable. We stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi and absolutely loved it. It was so cozy, private and romantic, perfect for a couple. The spa is also amazing and definitely worth visiting. We had such a great experience with the massages, and the entire spa staff were incredibly kind and professional. The food was another highlight — everything we tried was fresh and delicious, with very reasonable prices for the quality and service you get. Everything about our stay was perfect: the cleanliness, the peaceful location, the rooms, the spa, the food and especially the staff. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Albania!”
“Me and my girlfriend stayed just over a week here and we both found it to be the nicest place we’ve stayed. It was so quiet and clean and for the price of 8 nights it was An amazing deal. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and professional. All the receptionists were great! (Didn’t manage to get any names) also the main bartender was very polite and the drinks were nice and you can have them by the pool which is great. I had lunch most days at the pool bar which is across the road from the main hotel and everything we had there was really nice and especially for the price was very reasonable. The service was great, we were served by Fregis every time and he puts in a shift. The pool was also so nice, very relaxing, including the music. sun beds always free and are very comfortable. Little diving board was a nice touch too. So all in all this was the easiest 5 star I’ve given and if I ever come to Albania again I’d definitely come back. I wish hotel villa pascucci was a chain so we could go to it if we find ourselves in another country. Love the place.”
“Our stay at Hotel Villa Pascucci was absolutely amazing. We travel several times a year and have been doing so for many years, but this was the very first time a hotel truly felt like ‘home’, and the staff felt like ‘family’. Everyone was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming; especially towards our 11-month-old son. They made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay and were always very helpful with anything we needed. The dinner at the restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere every evening. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with both a large terrace and a balcony overlooking the sea, which made the experience even more special. Another highlight was the private sauna, which could be reserved daily for two hours. It was such a relaxing and luxurious touch to the stay. We truly loved everything about this hotel! Highly recommended!”
“We went as a group & very much enjoyed the stay here. Everything about the hotel is luxurious and attentive, but I want to point out especially the girls working in the reception. They were the nicest and took care of everything we needed, I would say they went above & beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Overall the hotel feels very warm and welcoming, 100% recommend!”
“We stayed at this 5-star hotel during our vacation, but unfortunately, it did not fully meet our expectations. The breakfast was quite repetitive, with the exact same options every day, which became boring after a while. In addition, the food was not labeled with allergens, and many dishes contained nuts, which made it difficult for guests with allergies to make safe choices. One of our rooms had a persistent smell of urine, especially in the bathroom. We reported it to the reception three days in a row, and although they said they would inform housekeeping, nothing seemed to improve. It didn’t feel like the issue was taken seriously. The air conditioning in the same room also didn’t function properly, making the stay uncomfortable. On a positive note, the rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. The sunbeds were fantastic, and the hotel had two beautiful pools in different areas. However, one day one of the pools was rented out for a private event, leaving very limited space for other guests — and there was no prior notice given. Overall, the hotel has potential, but several important areas need better management and attention to detail.”
