“My Mrs and I stayed for a week. We arrived at 1pm and were road check in wasn't until 3pm, I should have asked the pilot to go round the block a few times. We got our keys at 2.55pm, we were shown to our room which was lovely, room 509. We got 2 bottles of complimentary water and tea etc in the room. Whilst we were there the temperature was up to 32C, the air conditioning is very poor and especially for a brand new 5* hotel. The location of the hotel is in the "city centre", by all accounts there is not much to do as a tourist as the beach is disgusting, big massive sewage pipe right outside the hotel and the beach in general is full of litter, I wouldn't put my head in it. There is an indoor pool with the spa which is lovely but when it's so nice you really feel guilty about being inside and there is no outside pool at this hotel or private beach unless you get a 15 minute taxi ride which you still have to lay for when you get there. I would recommend that the hotel just gets some sun loungers for their patrons, at least you're topping up your tan. What I would say is that ALL the staff were lovely, the ladies who cleaned our room missed a big dead massive moth in our room all week but I suppose it's a hard job. The food within the hotel is 90% fish, that's great if you like fish. They had a menu for the world cup and each day I asked for the nachos with cheddar guacamole but it was never available. This is definitely great for a city break or a business stay, not for a weeks holiday.”

“I had a wonderful stay at Crown Plaza Durres. The hotel is modern, beautiful, and exceptionally clean. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived, and every employee we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The location is excellent, right by the Volga promenade, making it easy to enjoy the area and the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant was fantastic, and the food exceeded our expectations. Everything about our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and well organized. If you’re planning a trip to Albania and looking for a place to stay in Durres, I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Durres. It truly made our visit special, and I would gladly stay there again. Thank you to the entire staff for making us feel so welcome!””

“I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Durrës and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, with a spectacular view of the boardwalk and easy beach access just across from the hotel, close to both the harbour and city center. The rooms were modern, spotless, and very comfortable, with beautiful views that made the stay even better. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help. Especially Yonida at reception was extremely helpful and made us feel at home right away. The rest of the team was also very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, with plenty of options. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and luxurious. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Durrës. The service, comfort, and location make it well worth it, and I would definitely stay here again!”

“Hi! We spent a night in august in one of your premium suite on the 12th floor. In generel a nice and relaxing experience. Food, Staff and Extras are on a top level (for a 300$ room) Here are a few things to improve: Theres a chaos with your restaurants an their menus. Guest are not able to order anything from the roomservice menu in the restaurants and vice versa. Same with the breakfast restaurant. We wanted to eat a la carte there. But no.. only buffet. So we ordered to the room. And obviously the kitchen is not able to adjust anything at all to their meals: Once we ordered a ripeye steak. As i asked what the side was, i was told its salad. Alright but then i asked for a change to frenchfries (as offered on the menu). Well that was denied. No change to meals. Extensive Spa is included. Thats a big plus. Recommend this place!”

“Very beautiful. We went for lunch and coffee as it was nearby and near our boat pick up location. Beautiful interior and exterior. Excellent service. Chicken Caesar salads were great, chicken was fine. The Parmesan fries particularly were delicious, came out lukewarm, we mentioned this and they brought them out hot next - yummy. A coffees came with a complimentary biscuit. Very delicious and would recommend to all.”
