Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Hotel & Ryad Art Place Marrakech is well-suited to urban explorers wanting immediate access to the city's vibrant main square. It sits directly on Jemaa el-Fnaa. Guests enjoy a rooftop terrace with a plunge pool and fresh, made-to-order breakfasts. On the downside, the central location means you will experience ambient noise from the square, and the guest rooms have rather compact layouts.
Guests score it 9.2 out of 10 — the average across the 18 hotels we list in Marrakech is 9.4.
- Situated steps from Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the hotel provides immediate access to the medina's vibrant souks, historic landmarks, and dining options.
- The rooftop terrace features a refreshing plunge pool, offering a quiet sanctuary to unwind while looking out over the bustling city rooftops.
- Given the hotel's central location near the main square, evening sounds can drift into some rooms. Light sleepers may want to request a room facing the inner courtyard.
- Some of the entry-level rooms and riad-style layouts are relatively compact, which might feel slightly restrictive for travelers with extensive luggage.

Reviews from Google“What a great place. First off, I cannot say enough about the staff there, from those manning the front desk, the porters, the cleaning staff who were always with a smile and those working in the restaurant. We stayed in a number of places around Morocco and this was, by far, the best. We were there for the final two days of our two-week adventure to Morocco. The hotel/ryad is located in a small corner of the main plaza, nicely hidden away and yet right there next to everything and no more than two minutes from the souk. The room we had was very quiet, even during the day. A lovely four post bed was included. If we ever return to Marrakech, this will most likely be the place we will stay.”
“We had such an incredible stay at this hotel — honestly, it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was so friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. The reception team was amazing, always ready to assist with a smile, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. The rooms were absolutely spotless — clean, comfortable, and clearly very well taken care of. A special mention has to go to Ahmed, who was truly exceptional. He made our experience even more memorable with his kindness and professionalism. Everyone was wonderful, but I just happened to catch his name and felt he deserved recognition! I really can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a hotel with fantastic service and attention to detail, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back!”
“An oasis of paradise! This is the place to stay if you are in central Marrakech. An absolute oasis in the chaos of a busy city centre. A fantastic find, after a long period travelling all over Morocco this was paradise. From the moment we stepped in we were made to feel special. The rooms are fantastic, the pool is brilliant and the food great. You would not even know the noise and insanity of the city outside was there.”
“Wow, this hotel & Ryad is stunning. In the heart of Jeema el Fna you instantly transport into a quiet and tranquil Ryad away from the hustle and bustle if the square. The service is excellent, everyone is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained with everything you might need for your city break. The rooftop has a pool and plenty of sun loungers when you want to relax with a book for some downtime. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accomodation.”
“Wonderful accommodation- a Ryad and a Hotel in the style of a Ryad with a courtyard in the middle of the building. The service is attentive and excellent with clean, modern and spacious rooms. The facility is nicely secure & conveniently located on the edge of the Jemaa El-Fnaa. square. It is a short walk to the Medina/Souks, a bank for local currency withdrawals and most tourist attractions. It also has a very good restaurant on premises for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you so choose. I really enjoyed staying there.”
