What guests say
Reviews from Google“The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal has it all- lovely rooms, attentive staff, and a walkable location just north of the Louvre. It was the perfect home base for our vacation in Paris. The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding and an updated bathroom. We loved the views from the balcony of our junior suite. We were able to stay in the rooftop suite on our last night, and the terrace view includes the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and even Sacré Cœur in the distance. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our Paris visit, and we highly recommend this property!”
“Our most expensive stay during our 3 city trip and unfortunately did not live up to the expectations. The front desk was very kind and accommodating when we arrived, but were sometimes not available throughout the stay. We did have to go downstairs to order room service as nobody was able to assist on the phone and said they’d call us back(??). When they didn’t, we decided to go downstairs to order. The room service food was not great. The room itself was quite small and worn down with wear and tear, but the bathrooms were very clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was okay, their French toast was great (French toast is not part of the included breakfast). Overall, it was a very convenient location but not quite what we were expecting for a 5 star hotel.”
“Located close to The Louvre, this lovely hotel provided us with a charming introduction to Paris. The staff, from our welcome to servers to concierge to housekeeping were kind and made our trip feel quite special. We were greeted upon arrival with a delicious choise of beverages and comfortable seating whilst our room was being prepared. The concierges were all helpful in assisting us to confidently navigate Paris and the sites we wanted to see. They helped us plan wonderful walking routes and obtained taxis for us when needed. The only limited area, in my view, was the breakfast. Whilst my husband raved of his (and I so enjoyed the coffee!), the offerings were rather limited for me (and that is simply because eggs are not my preferred choice in the morning). However, the serving staff were kind, attentive, and beyond approach! Our room was spacious- we loved the treat of a walk-in closet!- and very well appointed. Luxury amenities and delicious chocolates upon arrival and prior to departure made our stay that much more sweet!”
“If I could give the location a higher rating than 5, I would. It is absolutely perfectly located, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the concierge assisted with finalising a booking for the Museé D’Orsay which I could not complete on my phone in such an effective and friendly manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.”
“An outstanding luxury hotel in a perfect Parisian location. Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal combines elegance, comfort, and exceptional service just steps from the Palais-Royal Garden and the Louvre. The rooms are beautifully designed, quiet, and impeccably maintained. The staff is professional, welcoming, and always attentive to every detail. The breakfast is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is refined yet relaxing. A truly memorable stay, I highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return.”
