Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Best for beach lovers desiring immediate access to the shore. Guests get direct access to Franciscan Monastery Beach, a prime harbour-side position, and a complimentary airport shuttle service. Family rooms and inclusive dining options are also provided. On the other hand, the hotel features limited on-site wellness facilities, and its lively surroundings can occasionally cause noise.
Guests score it 9.4 out of 10 — the average across the 7 hotels we list on Hvar is 9.4.
- Guests can transition from their rooms to the pebble shores of Franciscan Monastery Beach in seconds, making spontaneous sea swims effortless.
- The inclusion of a free airport shuttle simplifies arrival logistics, saving guests the hassle of coordinating island transport upon landing.
- Its central position near the harbor means nearby foot traffic and nightlife can sometimes be heard, though high-quality window glazing helps dampen the sound.
- While the Adriatic Sea is at your doorstep, the property lacks a swimming pool or dedicated spa, though staff can arrange external wellness activities.

What guests say
Reviews from Google“The most beautiful hotel with the best staff! We had an incredible stay at Beach Bay and did not want to leave. Đorđe at the front desk made sure we had everything we needed including luggage pick up from the ferry port. Our room was ready on arrival and we had the absolute best view. The hotel really is so beautiful and in such a lovely spot on Hvar. We had the best stay thanks to the amazing staff and will definitely return!!”
“What an amazing stay! From the time I got off the catamaran (from Split) to the moment I left the hotel, I felt so well-taken care of/safe. I wasn’t expecting anyone to take my bags, but the hotel had someone waiting for me as soon as I got off the catamaran ready to take my bags and escort me to the hotel which is only a few feet away (location was PRIME). I was welcomed into the hotel and was immediately able to check in. Throughout my stay (which included delicious breakfast options), I was constantly greeted by the wonderful staff. The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s right in front of the beach and you still can’t hear the beach activity unless you go outside. Also, the hotel was only a short walk away from some of the best restaurants the island has to offer. I traveled solo and the size of the room/bathroom was more than enough for me. It was super clean, there’s A/C, and everything is easy to navigate. 10/10. I would 100% return and cannot recommend Beach Bay Hvar enough!”
“We spent 5 beautiful days in this hotel. It’s located right next to the beach which has the most gorgeous sunset on the island. The highlight of our stay were the staff who were incredibly helpful and friendly - big thanks to Luka, Bane, Djordje and their supervisor!”
“Fabulous, friendly staff and beautifully situated hotel. Rooms spotless and very comfortable. A huge thank you to the night manager on the 17th May at 3am who was an absolute star. I was feeling visit unwell and stressed - she went above and beyond to help me. An incredibly kind lady. 🙏”
“Wonderful helpful friendly service just round the corner from the noisy port in its own quieter bay. Really felt we hit the top spot from our first visit. Staff super helpful and go the extra mile. You won’t be disappointed. Great value too.”
