Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Wellness enthusiasts seeking a complete spa experience should consider Hotel Raito. Its notable highlights include a full-service spa and wellness centre, traditional Vietri ceramic room details, and convenient shuttle transport with complimentary parking. Despite these features, the hillside location requires motorised transport, and guests may experience occasional highway noise from the nearby motorway.
Guests score it 9.4 out of 10 — the average across the 18 hotels we list on Amalfi Coast is 9.5.
- Perched on a hilltop, the hotel offers expansive vistas of the Gulf of Salerno and the Amalfi coastline, which guests can enjoy from the outdoor pool and select room balconies.
- Each guest room incorporates authentic, hand-painted ceramic tiles from Vietri sul Mare, bringing a sense of local craftsmanship and regional heritage directly into the living spaces.
- Due to the elevated position, walking down to the beach or town center is steep and challenging. Guests should rely on the hotel's scheduled shuttle service or private vehicles.
- While the nearby highway exit makes arrival by car exceptionally straightforward, some outdoor terrace areas may occasionally experience faint traffic noise depending on wind conditions.

Reviews from Google“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Raito Amalfi Coast. The location is simply breathtaking, with spectacular views over the Amalfi Coast that make every moment special. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including beautiful pools, spacious and comfortable rooms, outstanding cleanliness, and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options, and every part of the hotel was maintained to a very high standard. We highly recommend Hotel Raito to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay on the Amalfi Coast. We would gladly return!”
“There are honestly not enough stars allowed. I would give 100 stars. From the hotels exquisite appearance with views to rival all other regions of Italy, it is stunning! BUT…the staff were exceptional, so pleasant, soo accommodating, (especially for our 1 year old with a gluten intolerance and food allergies)…more than hospitable. The food…after being 3 weeks all over Italy, we had our BEST meals at the hotel restaurants. It was an experience wonderful enough to fly back from Florida only to vacation at the Raito. A million thank you’s for making our stay magical.”
“This is far from a 5 star we need a place to stay on the way to fly out. We arrived and the entrance looks great but this is where it ends. Hotel rooms are a motel 6 at best. Bed is like hardwood, the hallways are small and they place does not smell good. We went down to eat and the pizza restaurant was closed for rain even though it was sunny. We were forced into the nicer restaurant which is not nice. The menu is more about the chef than the food and the food is terrible. Asked for oil and balsamic 3x, they did not care we were there. One of our 4 rooms wanted to see the spa and it open ls ar 4!! We hated the hotel so much we changed flights to leave and the hotel wouldn’t refund us money offered us a free drink and we lost out on 4 rooms that were untouched!! Go in expecting a 2 start hotel with half the amenities closed and you will be satisfied, if you want a 4 start hotel than this 5 star is not going to be close!! Keep driving to a better place”
“Beautiful hotel in the heart of the amalfi coast. We stayed in a double room with a terrace overlook the water and the opposing town, absolutely spectacular. Kate, and the rest of the team were lovely, and made our stay very memorable and made us feel so well looked after. If I’m ever back in the area I would absolutely return.”
“We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Raito and genuinely couldn’t recommend it more. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after with so much care, attention and genuine hospitality. Every detail was thought of, and the team went above and beyond to make our stay special. A huge thank you to Sharon and Rita at reception, who were absolutely wonderful, and to Ido and the dining staff, who attended to all our needs with such passion and care. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional and truly deserving of its 5-star rating. One of the loveliest touches was finding a little surprise waiting for us every day. It’s those small details that made the whole experience feel so personal and memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the Amalfi Coast every morning was incredible. The restaurant was another highlight. The food was amazing, with plenty of delicious local dishes, and we genuinely didn’t have a single dish we didn’t enjoy. Compliments to the chef and the entire kitchen team! What really made Hotel Raito stand out, though, was the people. You can tell the staff genuinely care about their guests and take pride in making every stay special. An absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. We felt incredibly well looked after and would return without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable! ❤️🇮🇹”
