Tripplo’s hotel summary

Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 21 October 2026 · How we review hotels

Suited for design-focused visitors who prioritise a central location. Located in prime central Brunkebergstorg, the hotel features sleek brutalist-inspired interior design, a wine bar with an outdoor terrace, and a 24-hour fitness centre. It provides direct convenience, though the surrounding Brunkebergstorg area lacks historic charm, and some guests may find the sleek styling feels rather stark.

Located in the heart of Stockholm on Brunkebergstorg, At Six is a sophisticated design hotel that reimagines a brutalist high-rise as a hub of modern luxury. Its monochrome interiors, exceptional wine bar, and impressive art collection offer a refined urban retreat. It is best suited for design-conscious business and leisure travelers seeking central convenience and contemporary style.

Guests score it 8.8 out of 10 — the average across the 9 hotels we list in Stockholm is 9.1.

  • Situated on a revitalized square, the hotel is a ten-minute walk from Stockholm Central Station, making it an excellent base for exploring the city's shopping districts and cultural sites.
  • Housed in a former bank, the interiors blend raw concrete with monochrome elegance, featuring custom furniture and curated contemporary art installations.

“I had a wonderful stay at Hotel At Six! The location was fantastic and made it so easy to explore the city. I loved the room, which was comfortable, stylish, and had everything I needed. The gym was also a standout and one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I would definitely stay at Hotel At Six again and highly recommend it!”

“Everything about my stay here was top notch. It is in the Fine Hotels and Resorts category with American Express, and my experience was amazing. By far the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room service dinner was delicious as well. My room had a nice bath tub and shower, big windows, a very comfortable bed, a nice Bluetooth speaker in the room, and a very personalized welcome message on the TV when I entered the room. The TV has all information needed about the hotel like food/drink options, optional add-ons, and even art information. The hotel design was unique, modern, and high end with premium materials and feel everywhere. Even the door signs for “do not disturb” were made of leather. The attention to little details caught my eye. All of the staff at the front desk, kitchen, breakfast, etc. were extremely friendly and helpful. I give my overall stay an 11/10. Thank you!”

“300 Euro a night and they don't provide complimentary filtered or bottled water in your room. You are asked to fill an empty bottle from tap next to your toilet. This isn't service. This isn't environmental. Filtered water, reusable glass bottled water-those options are environmental. This is just cost reduction. This is just cheap. For the management, if you're claiming to be a five-star hotel then provide a five-star service.”

“Theft in our room by staff We had the worst experience in this hotel. My son left his ipad on the table in the room. We returned that afternoon and it was gone. We searched everywhere including all drawers/cupboards and safe. We requested to speak the management but after 24 they had failed to contact us. Eventually we had to take it further to the hotel manager. He did responded to our email and we met him the following morning and he requested that his team do a thorough search of our room without us being on the room. They checked the safe and surrounding area thoroughly and found nothing. We were also informed that only the cleaner had been in the room the whole day. Given this the manager agreed to reimburse us half of the iPad cost. On the day we checked out - the iPad Miraculously appeared a few hours later. Apparently it was near the safe. Which clearly could not have been true given we had searched the room and so did the management team of the hotel. The manager refused to speak or acknowledge us when we emailed him after we returned home to discuss the incident It is very clear that the staff stole the iPad but then returned it after we made a police complaint about the hotel. Do not go to this hotel. The staff are the thieves and the management is a disgrace.”

“After an unforeseen issue at Clarion Amaranten, I was rebooked to At Six, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Stockholm, with shops, restaurants, and major attractions all within easy walking distance. The room was modern, comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. Most importantly, the staff at check-in were warm, professional, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A great hotel experience overall, and I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Stockholm.”
