Tripplo’s hotel summary

Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 20 October 2026 · How we review hotels

Virtu on the Hill is for people who choose a hotel for the view. It sits high on the Stelida hillside, and from both pools and the terraces you look straight across the bay to Chora. The hotel is new, small and calm, the rooms are large and spotless, and guests speak warmly of a team that remembers names and helps plan days out. Breakfast, served with that same view, is a highlight. The position has a price. The hill catches the meltemi, so some days are too breezy to linger by the pool, and in spring and autumn the sun disappears behind the slope early. Kleftonisia beach is a short walk down, but Chora is a drive away, the access road is steep and parking is tight, so a hire car makes life easier. If you want peace, space and a view to come back to, it works well; if you want to stroll out to dinner, stay in town.

A small, contemporary hotel high on the Stelida hillside, with two pools that look out over the bay towards Chora. It suits couples who want calm, space and a view, less so anyone who wants to stroll into town for dinner.

Guests score it 9.6 out of 10 — the average across the 4 hotels we list on Naxos is 9.3.

  • The view is what guests talk about first: from the terraces and both pools you look across the bay towards Chora and the sea, and many say it was even better than the photos.
  • The two pools sit on separate levels of the hillside, each with comfortable loungers, so there is usually a quiet corner to settle into for the afternoon.
