This coastal option is ideal for travellers wanting on-site wellness and rooftop relaxation. Guests rate it well. The hotel features a rooftop pool with coastal views, comprehensive wellness facilities, and a pet-friendly policy. The 30-second verdict
- The elevated rooftop swimming pool and sun terrace provide a tranquil space to relax above the city, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean coastline.
- A fully equipped spa, complete with a thermal sauna, hot tub, and modern fitness center, offers comprehensive relaxation options without needing to leave the property.
- Located in a modern waterfront district, the hotel is a short drive or metro ride from the Gothic Quarter, which may less suit those wanting immediate historic district access.
- While the spa facilities are top-tier, individual treatments and services carry premium price tags, though guests can still utilize the excellent fitness center and pools freely.

Reviews from Google“Excellent staff- very courteous. Superb breakfast. Poolside was always nice and clean. Breakfast staff were very polite and made sure everyone had a hassle free stay. Perfect location for an event on the rooftop. Samantha fatieh- catering manager 11/10 Samantha very calm and courteous to us and our guest.couldn’t praise enough. If I have to host an event would certainly host it here. All our guests enjoyed the stay . Thank you Samantha for looking ofter our guests and making the event s memorable”
“Overall stay: great, but not excellent. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and not that close to the city, which you can reach only if you have a car or with the taxi. The experience itself was worth it. The property is a luxury and design curated massive hotel. Pools were the best part, extremely cleaned and the staff very polite. However, the check in process was quite lengthy. We had to queue for 20 minutes at reception before accessing the room. We had a wonderful experience with the staff, that is very polite. However, the room service, especially at night, was absent. To order some water and two drinks, we had to go down to reception three times because after an hour the drinks hadn’t arrived. On the phone, the room service didn’t respond. We informed reception on check out, but drinks were charged anyway. For a luxury property as such, I found it quite disappointing. On the other hand, breakfast is delicious and very generous. It offered a huge variety of savoury and sweet food to make anyone happy.”
“I was there for an event on the rooftop. The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern and the people were all super nice. The view is amazing as you can see the ocean and the mountains. It’s a gorgeous hotel. However, I am a local in Barcelona and I would never recommend my family and friends to stay here. The area is in the middle of nowhere, not much around and doesn’t feel super safe. I was walking from the tram station 5 minutes to the hotel and I got honked at by a car full of men. I walk around Barcelona alone as a woman often and I do not usually feel unsafe like I did there. It feels more industrial than a neighborhood. There is a tram station nearby but you have to do that walk (not nice pavement and loud turbines or something you have to pass) and if you want to take a taxi to the city center you’re going to be paying quite a bit to get around. Once the area is more developed (years) I am sure it will feel better but this is a definite no for a place to stay as it is right now. It’s a shame because it really is a beautiful hotel.”
“A true 5-star hotel. We were very happy with every aspect of our stay and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend trying the spa and massage—they’re definitely worth it. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. There are just a couple of things that could be improved. When we arrived, no one explained the hotel facilities or services to us. Also, it would have been helpful if we had been informed during booking or at check-in that the rooftop pool is closed on Saturdays due to private parties. It would be even better if guests received a schedule showing when certain facilities, such as the pool, might be unavailable during their stay. Overall, it was an excellent hotel, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would gladly come back.”
“Really impressed with SLS Barcelona so far. We came here last minute after a very disappointing experience at another hotel, and from the moment we arrived, everything was handled perfectly. Check-in was smooth and fast, the staff were genuinely welcoming and professional, and within minutes we were in a beautiful, spotless room. The hotel itself is stunning, modern and has a great atmosphere. After a stressful start to our holiday, the team here completely turned the day around for us. You can immediately feel the difference when a hotel actually cares about the guest experience. We’re still staying here, but so far everything has been excellent. Very happy we made the move to SLS Barcelona. Definitely deserves the 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
