Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 21 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Six Senses Kaplankaya is ideal for health-focused travellers who prioritise state-of-the-art spa facilities and remote coastal views. The resort stands out for its extensive wellness facility, four distinct Mediterranean dining venues, and private balconies with coastal vistas. On the downside, the hotel is situated in an isolated location far from city hubs, and its sprawling hillside layout requires quite a bit of walking.
Guests score it 9.4 out of 10 — the average across the 6 hotels we list in Bodrum is 9.2.
- The resort's expansive spa integration offers advanced wellness therapies, thermal suites, and fitness programs. It serves as a comprehensive sanctuary for guests seeking targeted health and relaxation treatments.
- With four on-site restaurants, guests can experience varied culinary styles focusing on fresh Aegean ingredients. Many dishes feature organic produce sourced directly from the resort's own gardens.
- Situated in a remote enclave of Milas, the resort is a significant drive from major towns and Bodrum's nightlife. Travelers looking for active urban exploration may find the secluded setting limiting.
- The property is built into a hillside, meaning guest rooms, restaurants, and beaches are spread out. Club car transport is available, though walking the steep inclines is sometimes necessary.

Reviews from Google“Our stay at Six Senses Kaplankaya was truly unforgettable and the perfect setting for our girls trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of in the most thoughtful and genuine way. The property itself is absolutely stunning. Every detail of the facilities reflects beauty, tranquility, and intention. Whether it was the breathtaking views, the peaceful atmosphere, or the impeccable design, everything created a sense of calm and luxury that made it so easy to unwind and fully enjoy our time together. What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was the outstanding level of service. Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and deeply committed to making our stay special. A heartfelt thank you to Fatih, the Front Desk Manager, who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. He took such care in bringing our wishlist to life and ensured that every moment felt personalized and seamless. We also want to give special thanks to our incredible GEMs, Angelika and Anastasiia, who supported us throughout our stay with every single request we had. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made such a difference and elevated our entire experience. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back. Thank you for hosting us so beautifully, it meant more than we can express.”
“We stayed at Six Senses Kaplankaya last weekend with our 14-year-old dog, Zeytin, and had an amazing experience. The level of service was truly exceptional — one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve had in Türkiye. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is beautifully located, with stunning bays and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in a Ridge Terrace Sea View room and especially loved the privacy and tranquility it offered. The spa was also excellent and helped us completely recover from the road trip fatigue. We left feeling genuinely rested, happy, and refreshed. Highly recommended.”
“The best SPA hotel maybe not only in Turkey, but in the WORLD! New, stylish, space, clean, fresh, beautiful and greatly managed! Amazing staff, especially those working in spa (Jamilja, thank you!), Thai girl as massage therapist- you were great! Restaurants with the most delicious and variable meals - I can't say enough good wirds about your delicious food and Amazing service! Beautiful rooms, huge and functional spa, beautiful beach and gardens...All details are thoughtfully organized and managed. The best place, obviously!”
“Absolutely amazing. Just perfect. The GEM team of Taha and Bushra deserve special recognition, they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Everything about this property is perfect except that it's not truly sustainable because there's grass lawn covering a portion of it that is shipped in in sod rolls and water-greedy and not at all local. However, the buildings had no toxic plastic and there are many other measures that make it stand apart.”
“Normally, I don’t really write reviews, but this stay was so special that I genuinely wanted to share our experience. We booked Six Senses Kaplankaya very spontaneously and honestly did not expect it to be this amazing. Having stayed at Six Senses properties in Asia before, I already had high expectations, but Kaplankaya truly surprised us in the best possible way. Everything felt perfectly aligned — the hotel, the people, the service, and the overall atmosphere. Coming from the hospitality industry myself, I know how much effort goes into creating these kinds of moments for guests, and this team truly delivered. A very special thank you to our GEMs, Angelika and Anastasiia, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Six Senses Kaplankaya is the perfect place to slow down, recharge, enjoy sports and spa, read a book, walk by the sea, eat incredible food, and simply relax. They have everything you could possibly wish for. A big thank you also to our waiter Mohammed, who looked after us every day, remembered what we liked, and introduced us to local dishes — something I always love when traveling. It made the whole experience feel so personal and warm. A special thank you as well to the F&B manager and his amazing team. The food was absolutely on point. As a huge dog lover, meeting Panda, the house dog, was another highlight for me. Such a special soul who made some moments even more memorable. Thank you to the whole Six Senses team for making these days so special. A true 10/10 experience — we will definitely be back. Constantin & Nora”
