“Our stay at Portrait was absolutely incredible and without a doubt one of my favorite hotel experiences ever. Traveling with 3 kids can be a lot, yet from the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for in every possible detail. The level of thoughtfulness is exceptional from the beautiful amenities to having not one but two Dyson in the room, which honestly made getting ready such a luxury. The aesthetic of the entire hotel is stunning: elegant, warm, and effortlessly chic without feeling pretentious. Breakfast was another highlight. I loved that you could create your own fresh green juice by choosing the fruits and vegetables yourself such a special touch and everything tasted incredibly fresh., and everything so tasty... What truly makes this place stand out is how personalized and attentive the experience feels. It’s rare to find a hotel this sophisticated while also being so comfortable and welcoming for families. Definitely amazing, and a place I cannot wait to return to.”

“Portrait Milano is, without any doubt, one of the most impressive luxury hotels in Italy. What makes it truly special is not just the level of service or design, but the fact that it is set within a historic former monastery dating back to the 1500s, beautifully restored and transformed into a refined, contemporary space while preserving its soul and architectural identity. From the moment you enter the inner courtyard, you immediately feel a sense of calm, elegance and exclusivity. The scale of the space is breathtaking, yet everything remains intimate and perfectly curated. It’s a rare balance between history, design and modern luxury, executed at the highest level. The rooms and suites are exceptional — minimalist yet warm, with a strong Italian aesthetic, premium materials and an incredible attention to detail. Everything feels tailored, from the lighting to the textures, creating a space that is both luxurious and deeply comfortable. The breakfast experience is often considered among the best in Italy, and it’s easy to understand why. The quality of the ingredients, the presentation and the overall atmosphere turn a simple morning meal into a refined ritual. Everything is fresh, perfectly executed and served with care. Within the hotel, you’ll also find Beefbar, a globally recognized concept that adds another dimension to the experience. The dining options overall are excellent, offering a mix of high-end cuisine and relaxed elegance, all within the same stunning setting. Service is where Portrait Milano truly stands out. The staff is exceptionally attentive, discreet and genuinely dedicated to making every stay perfect. Nothing feels forced — everything flows naturally, with a level of professionalism that defines true luxury hospitality. The entire property feels like a hidden sanctuary in the heart of Milan — calm, exclusive and beautifully designed, yet just steps away from the city’s energy, fashion district and cultural landmarks. Portrait Milano is not just a hotel, it is a complete experience, where history, architecture, gastronomy and service come together seamlessly. Luxury at its absolute finest.”

The atmosphere is both luxurious and inviting, making it feel like a private oasis away from the busy streets of Milan. The attention to detail is exceptional—beautifully designed rooms, impeccable cleanliness, and thoughtful touches that elevate the entire experience. The location is ideal, allowing you to explore Milan’s finest attractions, shopping streets, and restaurants with ease. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, Portrait Milano offers a refined and truly memorable stay.
