Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 20 October 2026 · How we review hotels
Portes Lithos Luxury Resort is for travellers who want a calm, modern base on the beach with meals and drinks taken care of. The low buildings blend into the landscape at Portes on Kassandra, with a large pool, a children's pool and the sea a few steps away, and the Ultra All Inclusive board covers the restaurants, the regular drinks list and a weekly dinner at the beach restaurant. Guests talk most about the staff, whom many describe as exceptional, and about the varied food and spotless rooms. The beach is where the resort is least convincing. Guests mention water that is not always clean, a campsite next door and nowhere to walk beyond the gates, and sunbeds are often claimed early with towels. Facilities are also simpler than at some five-star resorts, with no indoor pool or jacuzzi. Families and couples who value service and comfort over a showpiece beach will feel well looked after.
Guests score it 9.1 out of 10 — the average across the 16 hotels we list on Halkidiki is 9.2.
Featured in our guide: 10 luxury all-inclusive hotels in Halkidiki: the best for 2026
- Guests praise the staff above everything else, from reception and housekeeping to the waiters and the kitchen team. Many describe them as going above and beyond, and several guests have come back year after year for the same welcome.
- The buffet is described as varied and well made at breakfast and dinner, and guests appreciate being able to eat well throughout the day within the Ultra All Inclusive board, with a weekly dinner at the beach restaurant Skinos included.
- Several guests found the beach the weak point of the stay, with water that was not always clean, debris along the shore and a neighbouring campsite. There is nowhere pleasant to walk outside the resort, and some felt this made peak-season prices hard to justify.
- Guests mention people reserving sunbeds around the pool and on the beach with towels, and on busy days there were not enough sunbeds and umbrellas to go round. The main pool also has little shade until late afternoon.
