“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) Pine Cliffs Hotel exceeded all of our expectations and was one of the best resort experiences we've had. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and offers everything you could want for a relaxing vacation without ever needing to leave the resort. The variety of restaurants was fantastic, with plenty of options to suit different tastes throughout our stay. The spa was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of the trip. The beach access is truly spectacular—the cliffs, views, and easy access to the beach make it a very special place. The only disappointment was that several restaurants were closed during our stay, which limited some of the dining options we were looking forward to experiencing. Given the size and reputation of the resort, it would have been nice to have all venues available. It's also worth noting that Pine Cliffs is definitely on the expensive side. Not only are the nightly room rates premium, but nearly everything on property comes with a higher price tag, including food, drinks, massages, and items from the markets and shops. That said, you get a luxury experience that delivers on its promise. Between the beautiful grounds, outstanding amenities, amazing spa, excellent dining, and incredible beach access, Pine Cliffs is a truly special destination. Despite the higher costs and a few restaurant closures, we had an amazing stay and would happily return.”

“We got married at Pine Cliffs Hotel and Resort in the Algarve and honestly it was one of the best decisions we made. We had both our pre-wedding party and our wedding celebrations at Pine Cliffs, and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The venue is absolutely beautiful and made every event feel really special. What stood out the most was the team. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and professional, and they genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything went perfectly for us and our guests. The service throughout our stay was excellent and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A very special shout out to Inês and Joana from the events team — we truly could not have done the wedding without them. They were incredible throughout the entire process, always supportive, organised and reassuring, and they played a huge part in making everything run so smoothly. Our friends and family had such an incredible time and many of them have said it was one of the best wedding experiences they have ever had. We will always look back on our time at Pine Cliffs with the happiest memories. Thank you again to everyone at Pine Cliffs for making our wedding celebrations so unforgettable. We would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a stunning venue with outstanding service and a truly special atmosphere. ❤️”

“Summary: great place, tho service and facilities not as good/available this year. Come July or later. Love this place, have gone 4 times with family. Wide variety of very fun stuff and also relaxing activities for adults and for kids with variety of good food. Gorgeous, gorgeous beach. Restaurant on beach is especially amazing tho closed this month due to damage from storm. Rooms have all you need. Friendly service. This year we were disappointed to learn that a few things for kids (like rock climbing, air bungee) aren’t open till July, even though it’s summer (late June) and the hotel is obviously basically full and the facilities are set up and ready to use. It has also been harder to get a table at restaurants at times, and the concierge services are limited (they don’t answer phone consistently, they give inaccurate information, they can’t connect you directly to certain on-site service run by third parties). And at the tennis office, the staff member didn’t know anything about lesson availability because she needs the manager for that, and he had the day off. Table service at restaurants is also a tiny less attentive. Maybe they are still warming up for high season, but the guests are already here and summer has started. We’ll come back, but never before July.”

“An incredible resort with exceptional service - shoutout to Dipak! As a Marriott Ambassador, I have nearly only the highest praise for this hotel. However, I have a few criticisms: 1) accessibility - the pools are not easy to access for those of limited mobility. Most pool entry is by ladder. The Ocean Suites' pool has gradual steps in, but it is a shame the pool bar and indoor pool are not easier to access. The beach is also a walk from the lift, it is beautiful but difficult for those who struggle with steps. 2) the resort does an excellent job catering for gluten free, on the whole. Cafe Corda, the Burger van and Zest all offer significant gf options. It is a pity Pescador was a little limited on that front, especially when it came to dessert. 3) pool side - the only vocal complains I heard and agreed with was the lack of loungers round the pool and the lack of tables for loungers at the pool, lawn and beach. Other Marriotts use a QR code for ordering to your location which is so handy when looking after little ones and it is a pity not to have present here. Otherwise, the resort and its staff were delightful, kind, and thoughtful.”

“We recently stayed at Pine Cliffs Hotel in the Algarve as a couple and overall had a lovely holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful, with immaculate grounds, stunning views, and a high standard of cleanliness throughout. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which really enhanced our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes and a lovely setting to start the day. The facilities are also impressive. We particularly enjoyed the 9-hole golf course, the well-equipped gym, and the beautiful beach. It’s worth noting that access to the beach is not particularly suitable for wheelchairs or prams due to the terrain and steps. The sports facilities, including the tennis and padel courts, looked excellent and were clearly well maintained, with coaching sessions taking place during our stay. The location is another major plus. Old Town Albufeira is less than 30 minutes away by car. One tip for future guests: use Uber where possible. The hotel-arranged taxi to Old Town cost us around €20, whereas the Uber journey back was only €6. There were a few negatives that prevented this from being a perfect stay. The biggest disappointment was that there was construction work taking place during our visit, which we had not been informed about before arrival. While it didn’t completely spoil our holiday, we feel guests should be made aware in advance. We also found the resort surprisingly child-focused without having many obvious activities to keep children occupied. As a couple looking for a relaxing break, there were often large numbers of children around the pools and public areas, with quite a lot of noise throughout the day. An adults-only pool or relaxation area would be a fantastic addition for guests seeking a quieter experience. Finally, the food and drink prices within the resort were extremely high. Paying €5 for a can of Pepsi and €33 for chicken fajitas felt excessive, even for a luxury resort. As a result, we chose to eat off-site most evenings and purchased drinks from the supermarket across the road, where multipacks of cans cost roughly the same as a single can within the resort. Overall, Pine Cliffs is a beautiful resort with excellent facilities, wonderful staff, and a fantastic location. Despite a few frustrations, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend it to couples and golfers, while suggesting families research carefully whether the resort offers enough activities for their children.”
