“We had the most fantastic stay at the Marriott Crete Resort and Spa. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect! The staff were professional and welcoming, and they really helped make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The three main restaurants offered a great variety of food, all prepared to the highest standard. The location is incredible; this beautiful hotel is set perfectly within the hilly landscape, and no matter where we looked, we had a stunning view. We loved the sunbeds right by the ocean, where we could enjoy the refreshing breeze. The ocean currents also guaranteed an always-refreshing dip! The hotel has so many lovely little details that made our stay truly extraordinary. Fresh fruit was delivered in the afternoon, an evening cocktail hour was organized, and the staff gave us wonderful local recommendations, among many other thoughtful touches. My favorite part, however, was how incredibly helpful the staff were in organizing a special evening for my partner and me. They truly went out of their way to make it a memorable celebration. We cannot wait to go back!”

“The JW Marriott Crete exceeded every expectation - and that's saying something, because the photos online are already impressive. In person, the property is simply stunning. The architecture, the grounds, the views - it all comes together in a way that genuinely takes your breath away the moment you arrive. What truly sets this hotel apart though is the people. The staff here are warm, genuine, and go out of their way to make you feel looked after at every turn. A special shout out to Artemis, Olympia, Andreas, Georgios, Aris (the director), Maria and Elsa from the reception and restaurant teams - you made our stay truly memorable. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, never transactional. Whether you're travelling as a couple looking for a romantic escape or with young children in tow, this hotel just works beautifully for both. The atmosphere manages to feel relaxed and luxurious at the same time, which is a rare thing to pull off. Highest possible recommendation. We will absolutely be back.”

“Despite an unfortunate incident we experienced with the Front Desk Manager, Yuliia Tipa, I would have happily given this hotel a 10/10. On the day of our departure, we were threatened over a payment that had already been made the previous day. The issue turned out to be caused by the hotel's own system, yet instead of receiving an apology, we were met with an inappropriate attitude and racist remarks such as, "When you come to Europe, you have to prepare yourself...", mind you, we’re black. I found this comment particularly inappropriate considering that we ourselves are from Europe. It was unprofessional and not representative of the level of hospitality I expect from a Marriott property that welcomes guests from all over the world. The situation was handled in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. No guest should feel threatened over an error that was not their responsibility, especially considering the standard and price of this hotel. That said, I do not want this experience to overshadow what was otherwise an exceptional stay. Every other member of the team was genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant and bar staff provided outstanding service, the housekeeping team was excellent, and the concierge was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their professionalism and kindness made our holiday truly enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. My hope is simply that management addresses how situations like ours are handled, as one negative interaction should not detract from the remarkable work of the rest of the staff, who clearly care about ensuring guests have the best possible experience.”

“This is truly a new gem in the Mediterranean. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. Rooms are so comfortable, chic and easy holiday living. The bars and restaurants are great (breakfast a real highlight), the live music spot on, pools and walks - really with the 25 hours travel from Sydney! But the best part is the team. From the GM to the wait-staff, the cart drivers, from desk - everyone - like where did they gather such a talented, friendly, no-attitude group from?! They actually elevate the resort from a nice place to a magnificent holiday experience. Thank you!”

“A truly beautiful hotel in an ideal location for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. The property offers an excellent range of amenities, and everything I needed was readily available throughout my stay. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and featured a wonderful large private pool, which made the experience even more enjoyable. What stood out the most, however, was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful, making the entire stay feel even more special. A special thank you to Yulia Tipa for her outstanding service, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Her attention and dedication were truly appreciated. Overall, a wonderful experience and a hotel I would gladly recommend.”
