Tripplo’s hotel summary
Tripplo’s analysis · Updated 22 October 2026 · How we review hotels
If sleek interior design and quick access to both the beach and marina are priorities, INNSiDE by Meliá Alicante Porta Maris is the ideal choice. It features an outdoor pool, a spa, and three restaurants. A key limitation is that it functions as a large hotel rather than a boutique, surrounded by a public promenade instead of private grounds.
Guests score it 8.6 out of 10 — the average across the 5 hotels we list in Alicante is 8.8.
- The hotel occupies the promontory where Postiguet Beach meets the marina, so most rooms look out over either the sea or the harbour.
- An outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre are both on the property, which is rare this close to the centre of Alicante.
- With three restaurants and family rooms this is a sizeable property rather than a small, quiet house.
- The setting is a working seafront — the promenade and marina walkways run right past the hotel, so the immediate surroundings are public rather than enclosed gardens.

Reviews from Google“Great location and wonderful views. We loved the pool on the first floor with the sideral bar. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They always gave us complementary little sweet treats or nuts with our order. very cute! Would definitely visit again.”
“This hotel is in an excellent location, right by Alicante’s marina. The old town is only about a three-minute walk away. Everyone working here is very kind and helpful, and they genuinely care about making sure guests have a pleasant stay. Whatever you need, the staff are attentive and do their best to help. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful, well presented, and served with a very nice view.”
“We had a very pleasant stay! The breakfast buffet is very complete, with options available for people with coeliac disease. The COR restaurant is also a great choice for dinner, offering good food at reasonable prices. For lunch, the snacks served at the pool bar are also very tasty. The staff were absolutely lovely: from the reception team to the housekeeping staff, as well as the servers (especially Brian, Sandra and Flavia) and the pool bartender… Everyone was attentive and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. The fitness room is spacious and well equipped, and the entire hotel is consistently clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, although the bathrooms could be improved in our opinion, particularly due to some old rust/limestone and traces of mould on the roof. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay! We highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a destination that combines relaxation and exploration. It’s ideally located, just a 10 minute walk from the city centre, with several attractions easily accessible on foot.”
“WOW this hotel is stunning. The most incredible 360 view of the ocean, beach and hills can be enjoyed from both of the two pools, the lounge area and the restaurant. Our room was sea view also. The hotel is extremely clean and stylishly decorated, attention to detail is on point with beautiful books and trinkets to discover. The pool bar was a favourite with delicious lunch and snack options, on top of the world views and great service. We ate in the restaurant one night, was a lovely experience, gorgeous fish dishes and delicious desserts. Breakfast was decent too as hotel breakfasts go, it was fresh and varied. The location couldn’t be better with the port opposite, the beach just round the corner and the town just over the road. Also, prices at the hotel felt very affordable for a place with such an upmarket feel - we spent more time in the hotel due to (freak) bad weather but felt comfortable with the prices to be able to enjoy what was on offer. Music occasionally whether it’s a chill dj in the lobby or saxophonist around the pool doing jazz covers of current music. 🎵 staff were very attentive and generally very friendly . Would come back in a heartbeat !”
“I had a wonderful stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Alicante. The hotel is modern, clean, and perfectly located, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to Gabriel (pool barman) for his outstanding service and positive attitude. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future!”
