This resort is ideal for guests who want resort-style recreation in a quiet setting. Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, Venice occupies a peaceful spot at the tip of Giudecca Island. On-site highlights include a large heated outdoor saltwater pool, a clay tennis court by the lagoon, and a private wooden launch boat service. The 30-second verdict
- The expansive heated saltwater pool is a rare feature in Venice, offering a spacious area for recreation and relaxation, surrounded by manicured gardens and plush sun loungers.
- Situated on the tip of Giudecca Island, the property provides a peaceful sanctuary away from the crowded tourist paths of central Venice, while remaining highly accessible.
- Because the hotel is on Giudecca Island, spontaneous walks directly into central Venice are not possible. However, the private shuttle boat runs continuously to ensure transit is effortless.
- The exceptional service and exclusive setting come with premium price tags on both rooms and dining. Budget-conscious travelers may find the on-site dining options prohibitively expensive.

Reviews from Google“★★★★★ An unforgettable stay at Hotel Cipriani, Venice Hotel Cipriani is, without question, one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment you arrive, the level of service is simply extraordinary. Every single member of the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and everything is handled with remarkable efficiency, warmth, and genuine care. It is hospitality at its very best. The food is outstanding. Breakfast is truly exceptional, with an incredible selection and impeccable quality, and every meal we had during our stay was absolutely delicious. The location is another highlight. Close enough to enjoy everything Venice has to offer, yet wonderfully peaceful, allowing you to escape the crowds and experience the city in complete tranquility. During the summer, the pool area is simply spectacular. It is a beautiful oasis where you can relax in an elegant setting, making the hotel feel like a resort while still being in Venice. Hotel Cipriani delivers a level of excellence that is increasingly rare. It is a truly exceptional property, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. We are already looking forward to returning.”
“The most amazing hotel in Venice. The best food and the best rooms. The pool is saltwater and is heather to the perfect temperature. Cips and Oro are both incredible. The spa is heavenly But the concierge is terrible. Don’t trust them with important tasks. I asked them to arrange my blitz transfer for the airport and the screwed up royally. Left a sour taste at the end of trip. If you need some help and it’s very important, I suggest you do it yourself. Do not let them do it. You will regret it.”
“Wonderful stay. The room and service were a notch above. The pool is gigantic. A calm away from Venice, but minutes away. Probably faster to get to San Marco than most hotels.”
“This is my favorite hotel in Venice. And honestly, it’s impossible to put into words the feeling you get when you arrive there. It’s not just a hotel — it’s an atmosphere you fall in love with from the very first moment Everything here is simply perfect: the pool, the grounds, the relaxation areas, the rooms. No matter which room I’ve stayed in, everything has always been at the highest level. But my absolute favorites are the rooms with small balconies overlooking the garden… the fresh flowers, the greenery, the quiet. And it feels especially magical when it’s raining outside — it creates such a cozy, almost cinematic mood But my biggest love is their breakfasts. Honestly, you won’t find anything like this anywhere else in the world. And it’s not just about the food — it’s about the details. The tableware they use, the cups, the plates — everything is so elegant, refined, and thoughtfully curated that you find yourself enjoying every little moment. It’s one of those rare cases when even coffee tastes different And of course, having breakfast on the terrace with a view over Venice — it’s simply wow. One of those moments you wish you could relive again and again Another thing you truly feel here is the history of the place. For decades, the hotel has been chosen by iconic figures, actors, and artists. And that atmosphere still lingers — in the details, in the mood, in everything around you. Legends like Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Paul Newman, Brad Pitt have stayed here, and George Clooney even celebrated his wedding here You don’t come back here for the comfort — you come back for that special feeling you simply can’t find anywhere else 🤍”
“Such a spectacular hotel. The service and cleanliness are perfect. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant is amazing; we loved every dish there! We really enjoyed our stay!”
