“I have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world, but Hotel Ambasador Split is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. I spent four nights here, and what impressed me most wasn’t simply the beautiful design, the rooms, the location or the exceptional food. All of that is absolutely first-class. What makes this hotel truly special is something much harder to create: it has a soul. Despite being a high-end luxury hotel, you feel Croatia and, above all, the soul of Split everywhere. From the moment you enter the lobby and see photographs capturing the history, passion and emotions of the city, including children celebrating Hajduk Split, you realize this is not some interchangeable luxury hotel that could be located anywhere in the world. This hotel belongs to Split. And then there are the people. From the hotel director, Stipe, to the reception, restaurant staff, waiters and everyone we encountered during our stay, the warmth was extraordinary. You don’t feel like room number XYZ. You feel welcomed, appreciated and, somehow, almost like part of the family. There is a positive energy throughout this hotel that is impossible to fake. You can feel that the people working here genuinely care about what they do, about their guests and about each other. To me, that says a lot about the culture and leadership behind a hotel. The food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. The rooms and attention to detail were pure quality. Everything feels refined without ever becoming cold or pretentious. There are many luxury hotels where you pay for the name. At Ambasador Split, you experience what luxury is actually supposed to feel like: quality, authenticity, hospitality and genuine human connection. From the first welcome to the moment we said goodbye, this was an exceptional experience. Thank you, Stipe, and thank you to the entire Ambasador team for these four unforgettable days. You have created something very special in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I genuinely cannot wait to come back. 🇭🇷❤️”

“The service and location of Hotel Ambassador are absolutely top-notch. Everyone was so kind and accommodating! The rooms were small, but very clean and efficient with modern fixtures. I will definitely stay here again on future trips to Split. Sidenote: we very much enjoyed the restaurant next-door, Basta, which was suggested by our driver. We ate there every day of our visit.”

“We had an amazing experience at Hotel Ambasador as a stop on our honeymoon trip and would highly recommend it to everyone. The hospitality was incredible, as the team fully recognized our special occasion as well as I Prefer Hotels status from the beginning of the check-in process and were extraordinarily generous with accommodating an early check in as well as providing us some celebratory champagne for the occasion. The rooms are really well designed, with very high end finishes, great bathroom toiletries, even cool historic photos of the area that have special lighting. Not to mention the great view of the water and easy access to the marinas. The hotel pool and spa facilities are also lovely, the pool bar staff was very lovely and it is very easy to spend a whole afternoon just lounging and doing lunch up at the pool. The spa facilities included a great wood sauna, steam room, ice bath facilities and a salt relaxation room. If you were to be in town during a rainy day, the facilities would be perfect to occupy most of the day. For sightseeing, the location of the hotel is quite perfect—we were an 8 min walk away from the start point of our walking tour and the area with a bunch of incredible Konoba (local restaurants) is maybe a 5 minute walk away. The hotel breakfast is also excellent, very high caliber and includes both buffet and à la carte options, which was a great start to the day. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“We loved the atmosphere and location of the hotel. Breakfast is amazing, the views of the harbour make it irreplaceable, and it’s full of amenities and confort. The experience was great and the staff are also kind and respectful. We also had dinner at the Mediterranee restaurant and Marko, our waiter, was quite a star. Thanks to Madlen, the manager, for his generosity and attention to our requests and suggestions. We highly recommend this place!”
