Reviews from Google“A holiday with a different feeling Sometimes a hotel is simply a place to stay. Ethno felt different for us. What we enjoyed most was the balance between comfort and freedom. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and there was always a quiet corner where we could simply sit back and enjoy the moment. The design is beautiful, but it is the atmosphere that makes the biggest impression. The staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the restaurants and the quality of the food. Everything felt carefully thought out without being overly formal. By the end of our holiday, we realized that we had stopped checking the time and simply started enjoying each day. That, for us, is what a real vacation should feel like. Thank you, Ethno, for a beautiful stay.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Ethno Hotel and truly enjoyed every moment of our experience. Javara Bar was one of our favorite places. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed spending time there. The Kitchen Club, the main restaurant, offered an excellent variety of dishes. There were so many options to choose from, and everything we tried was fresh and very tasty. We also loved the cocktails at the Lobby Bar. They were beautifully prepared and tasted amazing. Overall, Ethno Hotel exceeded our expectations. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service made our stay truly special. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!”
“The hotel’s design and cleanliness are at the level expected from a resort in this category. The facilities are attractive and well maintained, and overall we had a reasonably good experience. Unfortunately, the service was significantly below the standard expected from a hotel in this price range. Customer service was inconsistent, waiters were often difficult to find, and many staff members spoke very limited English, making simple requests unnecessarily difficult. The kids’ centre was particularly disappointing. The activities were poorly organised, and the staff appeared bored, overwhelmed and insufficiently trained to engage properly with the children. The hotel has also introduced a concierge app through which guests can communicate with a personal concierge. It is a good idea in principle, but our concierge was unable to resolve any of the issues we raised. Overall, the experience gave us the impression that the hotel has significant training and staffing problems. The à-la-carte restaurants charge very premium prices, yet we found the food largely similar to what was already available in the main restaurant. The Greek restaurant was especially disappointing, and I would avoid it—particularly when visiting with children. Overall, it is a good-looking resort, but the service and value do not match its claimed class or pricing. For this price category, it is not a hotel I would return to or recommend.”
“Excellent hotel overall. Very clean, with exceptionally fast and attentive service. The food was excellent, and even the standard rooms are very spacious and comfortable. A special mention goes to the personal assistants, who were extremely helpful and responsive with everything we needed. The hotel app was also very convenient almost every request could be handled quickly and easily through it. A very pleasant experience overall.”
“We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, especially thanks to the excellent service from Nurullah and Salim. They were always very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. They regularly asked if we would like more drinks or if there was anything else they could do for us. It was great to see how dedicated the staff are to making sure guests have a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Their kindness and professionalism really made our stay special. Thank you very much! Best regards.”
What guests actually say
Tripplo’s analysis uses a sample of 13 guest reviews. Texts may be shortened. Mentions are counted after automated classification and describe the sample, rather than every guest’s experience.
The sample follows how Booking.com and Google sort reviews, which puts satisfied guests first, so criticism is under-represented. Read the drawbacks below and the latest reviews on Booking.com before you book. Few guests have left written reviews for this hotel, so the analysis rests on just 13. Treat it as a pointer rather than the full picture.
