What guests say
Reviews from Google“We recently spent a short holiday at Eagles Palace in Ouranoupoli with my family and the experience was outstanding from start to finish! The resort itself is beautiful, set in a peaceful location with excellent amenities, pristine beach, fresh food options and top-tier services in general. What made our stay truly remarkable, however, was the warm and impeccable management. A special thank you goes to Mr. Vasilis Kapetanios, the hotel manager, whose personal attention to detail, genuine care, and exceptional hospitality made us feel truly valued and ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. It is rare to find such high standards of professional luxury paired with such authentic, generous warmth. We left with wonderful memories and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!”
“We chose this hotel for the first time based on our friends’ recommendation. Considering the amount we paid, our expectations were high, but unfortunately, our stay was a huge disappointment. When we arrived, we had to wait a very long time for our room with a young child. I also would not describe this as a child-friendly hotel. The kids’ menu is extremely limited. A child who spends the day at the beach or pool cannot be expected to eat burgers and fries every day. It was surprising that there wasn’t even a simple pasta option. The Kids Club was also extremely disappointing. It was very small, poorly equipped, and offered very limited activities. For a hotel in this price range, we expected a much better children’s facility. The buffet food often seemed as if it had been sitting out for a long time. The quality and taste were below expectations. The placemats on the tables also did not seem hygienic, as they appeared to be reused without being properly cleaned. Disposable paper placemats would be a much better option. My husband follows a gluten-free diet. We informed the hotel upon check-in and were told that gluten-free options were available. However, at breakfast, the bakery section was mixed together, and there were no clearly separated gluten-free options that he could eat safely. The bartender at the beach bar who prepared the cocktails was unfriendly and seemed unwilling to help, which negatively affected our overall experience. We also asked for cold bottled water to be placed in our room, but our request was never fulfilled. Unfortunately, we did not receive the level of service we expected for the price we paid. There are many hotels in this price range that offer a much better experience. We definitely would not recommend this hotel, and we will not be returning.”
“We had a very pleasant five-day stay at Eagles Palace. The room was comfortable and beautifully designed, the staff were friendly, and the hotel has excellent facilities and a lovely beach. The only major disappointment was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work throughout our entire stay, despite being reported. This should not happen in a five-star hotel. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay.”
“The hotel has a beautiful location right on the beach, and the quiet beach area is honestly a great idea. The view was definitely the highlight of our stay and what makes this place feel special. The room was perfectly fine, but not really what we expected from a 5-star hotel. The bathroom was quite small, the balcony did not feel very clean or welcoming, and overall the room felt a bit impersonal. The Wi-Fi connection was also very slow. The buffet food was average for us. We understand that it is probably difficult to offer truly excellent quality with such a large buffet service, but we appreciated that the team made an effort to adapt some options to our meat-free diet. That gesture meant a lot to us. The staff were generally friendly, although part of the team seemed inexperienced and sometimes a bit disorganized. During meals, the waiters often seemed in a hurry to clear plates, even while we were still eating, which made the dining experience feel rushed. The hotel was also extremely family-oriented, with many small children around. For families this may be ideal, but for us the noise level during meals made it difficult to relax and enjoy our time. Overall, we enjoyed the location and the view very much, but for our personal preferences it is probably not a place we would return to.”
“An unforgettable five-night return visit to a chic, refined resort! We returned to Eagles Palace in Halkidiki for another season—this time for five nights—drawn back by the beautiful surroundings and the massive private beach. It is easily the largest and best hotel beach I’ve seen anywhere in the world! The service is exceptional. Upon arrival, we were handed welcome drinks to relax while our check-in was seamlessly handled for us. Our room was modern with high-quality furnishings and wonderful attention to detail. The food across the hotel's restaurants is delicious, but the tasting menu at Kamares Restaurant was truly outstanding, paired with incredibly attentive service. The biggest highlight, however, is the amazing staff. They work incredibly hard but always maintain a warm, personal, and friendly demeanor. Huge thanks to the Hotel Manager Vasilis Kapetanos, Ioanna, our absolute favorite Elizabeth, Sofia and Giota at the Spa, and Sotiris for a fantastic olive oil tasting workshop. And the rest of the wonderful team who made our stay so special. They made a large resort feel remarkably intimate. The atmosphere is quiet, uncrowded, and beautifully refined. We are returning home feeling completely refreshed and cannot recommend Eagles Palace highly enough!”
