Reviews from Google“The location is pretty much perfect. Right by a canal for water taxis (and the view) and 50 metres from St Marks Square. We had 4 nights there and the staff are terrific- friendly and helpful+. The restaurant is lovely, and has a nice atmosphere - langoustine tartare is delish! The rooms are very comfortable and a reasonable size, albeit furniture etc could definitely use an upgrade.”
“My first trip to Venice ending with a bad taste in my mouth! We booked the Junior Suite that cost €1200/night. Everything was positive at the beginning: the room is spacious and nice that came with a separate small bed for our little one; the porter was friendly to provide me and my little one a glass of water and juice when we were waiting for check-in; they provided free bottle of water, and quick response in fixing the sink plug (not working properly to begin with); and they came up and give me two pieces bandages straighaway when I asked. However, disappointment did start from first day - our room came with a complimentary bottle of champagne which was clearly put out on their website, instead of already having it in ice bucket in the room when the room was showed to us, I had to call the reception to confirm and ask for it; Then the restaurant for breakfast: I asked for an Oat milk latté and poached eggs on the first day, it was my fault to aasume latté has froth like back home and poached eggs will be runny as standard. When I asked the supervisor, she said "maybe little runny, I don't know, let's find out", so turned out not runny but not too bad, I let it pass and learnt my lesson. Next day breakfast, I asked for Oat Milk cappocchino and 2 serving of runny poached eggs, need to be runny runny (I emphasized). End up no froth in my coffee with the supervisor "politely" explained "because no fat in plant-base milk so it is hard to make froth"...I mean ...if I can make froth with Oat milk at home, your professional barista from a famous coffee culture region can't be worse than me who is from overseas, right? 2 servicing of runny poached eggs - 1 serving with almost well done egg and the other serving did not even have eggyolk inside (rolling my eyes). Lastly, because we don't want to waste the pastries my little one put on the plate but could not finish (sitting on the plate for half hour already on our table), we politely ask if we can get a box sth to take it away, they said they ran out and only reserved for people order takeaway food. I asked how abt just a plastic bag, again the supervisor said there are no more, they ran out. At check out, we asked to charge the credit card used on booking.com, they said they required a physical card. I don't bring it with me as we left it at my in laws (also in Europe) to keep it safe since I can tap with my phone. They kept saying no and in the end after we explained the situation with a little frustration, then they changed the answer to say yes they could unblock that card on record to attemp payment. As writing this review, I am trying very hard not to curse.. for a 5-star hotel that charged $2000AUD a night with this level of service, you are a bit full of yourself!”
“Perfectly located hotel just steps from St Marks Square, and convenient boat access. Rooms are beautiful however hotel is located on a somewhat noisy street. We happened to be staying at a time that windows needed to be open because air conditioning was not switched over, so a little noisy for sleeping. The breakfast room has some beautiful paintings as well and worth a visit if you are not enjoying their breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay at this location on another visit to Venice.”
“Immensely disappointed with this hotel… I would not recommend this and will not be staying here on my future visits. 1. Charging my room for Items… Then not being able to tell me what these items are but insisting that the expenses valid. They have all the ignored me… So I guess once you pay, you’re no longer a customer. I am now going through American Express to fight this - A disappointing way to end my trip to Venice! on that note . 2. They provide your postcard in your room… It’s a beautiful postcard. But don’t ask the front desk or concierge for help on mailing it or where you’re supposed to go to get a stamp… “I don’t know that’s not something we do” 3. Our lights kept flickering throughout the night in the hallway of our room… What a peaceful way to enjoy your sleep time Honestly, overall, it’s the service that turned me off to this hotel.”
“Our stay and Baglioni Hotel Luna was spectacular. The front desk staff, concierge and bartenders were all friendly and made an effort to make sure we had a memorable stay in venice. The room and hotel were spotless. The location is phenomenal and this hotel has a private dock so easy to get in and out when using a water taxi. There are two vaporetto stops within a 3 min walk, and gondola service out front. You are literally a step away from St. Marks square. Thank you Alessi for the restaurant recommendations and the island hopping excursion.”
