What guests say
Reviews from Google“Wow! What an hotel! Plenty of room with several pools: kids with slides, adult only, see water and a big one. The rooms are amazing, every detailed is carefully designed. Breakfast is amazing, with amazing products. The kids club is very good, and kids can be left there and when they want to leave you get a text/WhatsApp message to come and pick them up. The Gym 💪 is amazing, one of the best that I have ever seen in an hotel, it can compete with professional gyms. Just remember to bring an AC adapter”
“We had our wedding cocktail reception in the hotel’s beautiful gardens, and everything was simply exceptional. From our very first meeting with Katerina, the hotel’s Food & Beverage Manager, I knew we were in great hands. She was incredibly professional, attentive, detail-oriented, and always available to help throughout the planning process. Her excellent communication made everything completely stress-free. On the day of the wedding, we simply arrived, and everything was perfectly set up exactly as agreed. The food stations and bar were beautifully arranged throughout the gardens, creating a stunning setting. The hotel truly offers one of the most beautiful garden venues on the Limassol seafront, and together with the sunset, it created a magical atmosphere for our guests. The food and service exceeded all our expectations. Every guest complimented the quality of the food and drinks, and despite it being a cocktail reception, everyone left impressed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to host a wedding or any special event. They made our day absolutely perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
“I can't express how impressed we were at the quality of rooms, service, grounds, amenities and food level at the Amathus. We've been to high-end hotels around the world but this one takes the crown. Even though everything was top notch, I can't stress enough the level of service we received everywhere around the hotel. The pools are kept nice and warm. Even the private one we had in our room!”
“My stay at the Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a level of warmth, professionalism and attention to detail that truly sets this hotel apart. The resort itself is stunning, immaculately maintained, beautifully designed and perfectly positioned along the coastline. Every element, from the elegant rooms to the incredible dining experiences and serene pool areas, reflects luxury and comfort at its finest. What truly elevated my experience, however, was the outstanding leadership of the Resort Manager, Efthymios Katsenios. His presence is felt throughout the hotel, ensuring every guest is cared for with genuine hospitality and excellence. Efthymios goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere and his dedication to delivering a flawless guest experience is truly remarkable. The service across the entire team was impeccable, attentive, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s rare to find a place where everything feels so effortlessly perfect. The pools were lovely, although the Children’s pool was closed and the main pool was on the cold side. However the heated indoor pool was great for the children to swim in. Kids Club facilities are amazing, equipped with soft play and extensive activities. Children have to be 4yrs old to be left unattended, however you can gain access to supervise younger children. If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable stay in Cyprus, the Amathus is simply unmatched. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will absolutely be returning in the peak season.”
“We vacationed as a family of four (two adults and children aged 3 and 9) in July on a half-board basis. The hotel boasts excellent facilities for children and high-quality dining, though there are some quirks regarding family room layouts and service organization. PROS: Privacy and security: The hotel grounds are laid out to ensure privacy and are shielded from outside view. It is a secure, enclosed property; we could leave personal belongings anywhere by the pool without worrying about their safety. Beach towel service: Towels are provided in unlimited quantities without the need for cards or deposits, and they can simply be left on the sun loungers. Beach and sea: The beach is sandy. The entry into the water is gentle and gradual, making it convenient for families with small children. Facilities for children: There is a well-situated playground and a high-quality kids' club on-site. Water slides cater to various ages, including toddlers. While the water park area is compact, the toddler zone is shaded, a crucial feature tbh. Cuisine and restaurants: The quality of the food and ingredients is exceptional. Several attractive-looking à la carte restaurants operate on the premises (though we didn't visit them, as the menu wouldn't have suited the children). CONS AND QUIRKS: Room layout: The entry-level room category (Inland View) is questionable for families: there is no balcony (meaning wet items must be dried on poolside loungers), and the windows face a noisy road. The bathroom specifically the shower is separated by a glass partition with blinds. these can be made fully transparent and are controlled from the outside rather than the inside, creating inconvenience for a family of four. Lack of a children's dinner menu: Despite the generally high quality of the cuisine, there is no simple, basic children's menu at dinner, which makes mealtime arrangements for young children difficult. Additional charges and facilities: Drinks at dinner come at an extra cost, and there is no ice cream for children in dessert section. Wi-Fi connectivity on the premises is unstable or rather, non-existent. Late check-out arrangements: Our request to extend the stay by two hours (beyond the standard 12:00 check-out time) was denied by management, citing full hotel occupancy. Yet, at 12:00, no one was in a rush to collect the luggage; neither housekeeping nor bellboys showed up. The key cards remained active the entire time. Due to a lack of coordination between departments, two hours were lost instead of being spent relaxing by the pool.”
